The hotel is nice and modern with good lounge spaces off the lobby which include wine dispensers to easily grab a glass of wine and relax. The room was nice and modern, very clean and a good size. The hotel had chocolates and a welcome note waiting for us in the room when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. We were staying over Christmas and they also left treats for us that day when the room was serviced, which made Christmas even more special. The hotel is in a good location to easily access the lower old town, and is also a short walk up to the higher old town. We had a wonderful time in Quebec City and really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 71.

I found the staff very kind and helpful both of the front desk and breakfast servicing. The breakfast really was fabulous and I like the happy hour social time too. I couldn't go out because I was with a young puppy and just being able to have the spaces and Amanda taste to explore and enjoy wasn't unexpected pleasure.
