It is situated outside Eisenach, but there's a good bus service if you don't want to drive, and our hosts were very helpful about suggesting things to do nearby, and how to get to them.

The size of the apartment was amazing. We were able to put the kids to bed in the bedroom and still have a great space for the evening. The balcony was a great addition. The kitchen is extremely well kitted out and had everything we needed. We made use of the washing machine and tumble dryer which was fantastic. The kids also loved the music in the bathroom.
