The location was excellent for sight seeing. The apartment was on the edge of the Sassi district and a very short walk to the centre of Matera, in a very quiet street. The host had left a bottle of wine, milk, cereal, tea, coffee…enough to get us started. We were very grateful. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of linen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in there….it was charming.

Neighborhood is very nice and quiet, pizza and sweets are 2min away. It’s in the second floor. To Sassi if you walk, you need 15-20min.
