The property was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The service was special and the attention to detail excellent. We were presented with tea and coffee on arrival, the room was spotless with a beautiful garden view (including terrace) and an extremely comfortable bed! The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, supplying us with more bottled water when we ran out and serving a delicious and ample breakfast each morning. We found the property really peaceful and tranquil, and the perfect place to explore Nuwara Eliya but then retire to relaxation in the evening. A nice touch was wearing the provided slippers in the hotel!

Weather changes was awesome 👌 too much greeny and hopefully recommendations to all friends and families. Dislike was late night music Lound may be due festival season ✨️.

La habitación acogedora e ideal, con una chimenea. El baño limpio, moderno, con ducha agradable. SIn duda el mejor sitio en el que hemos estado en SriLanka. Tienen un salón común desde donde trabajamos y hay buena conexión. Además la comida del hotel también está muy bien.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it felt like staying in a cozy home. After moving from hotel to hotel, it felt so nice to come into a warm and comfortable home with a cozy bed. And I liked that dinner and breakfast takes place at a big family table with other guests, once again it felt cozy. But above all, I have to give credit to the incredible service we received. I arrived with a very bad cold, slight fever, etc. Soon after we arrived and he saw I was sick, Madhavan came to our room with a steaming bowl with ginger and lime leaves and some ayurvedic medicine to help with my congestion. He repeated the same action twice more during our stay, and was so so kind, bringing me tea constantly, asking how I was, etc. All the employees at the hotel were above and beyond with their service and attention, and Madhavan's kindness with me will be remembered long after our trip. Oh - and they have a gorgeous swing in the garden where you can lounge about and read on. If you're tired of staying in impersonal hostals and are looking for a cozy stay in a big comfortable house, look no further :)

Hilldale Retreat tiene vistas a la montaña y está en Nuwara Eliya. Cuenta con restaurante, salón de uso común, cafetería, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. I loved the location, the view; the staff was very kind and attentive. The property is very well maintained. The bed was huge and very comfortable, I had the best sleep here in my 3 weeks trip in Sri Lanka.

El personal es encantador, atento y educado. Utilizaron nuestros nombres en todo momento. Nuestro inglés no es el mejor y en todo momento han tratado de hacernos sentir cómodos. No ha faltado detalle! Recomendamos 100% vivir la experiencia y alojarte en este encantador lugar. Destacar la amabilidad de Rushanthi que nos ha hecho la estancia aún mejor.
