Hotel Ramada by Wyndham Ramnicu Valcea is located in the centre of Râmnicu Vâlcea, within 900 metres from the train station. We arrived on vacation, an excellent hotel, good service from the staff, we only had to take the luggage to the room by ourselves with the help of a luggage trolley. Reasonable and good breakfast with a large selection. Adjacent parking is free and the rest on the street for a maximum payment of 15 lei per day, in the evening parking is free. There is a lot of noise from the music that is played downstairs in the restaurant until the wee hours of the night.

Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. The location is excellent! It´s close to the city center and next to a gorgeous park that we enjoyed exploring every day. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were big and the staff was extremely kind and helpful - especially Alexandra from Reception :) Springtime is especially beautiful there

Really nice small hotel with well furnished apartments and modern facilities. It's not so busy and we were able to relax very well, and enjoy the spa. Food in the restaurant was okay but nothing that special. Breakfast was really good. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a more secluded and relaxing place that isn't huge and with a ton of people.
