Brand new hotel with a beautiful design and great attention to detail. Everything was very comfortable. We stayed over Christmas and had a wonderful time — including our dog (they even have an adorable dog menu!) and friends visiting with young children, who were given activity books and colored pencils. The food was excellent, and the staff were extremely attentive and careful with my food allergies. Everyone was kind and welcoming, with a special thank you to Lynn and Ethan for making our Christmas stay feel so warm and special.

Oh my goodness in all the hotels I have stayed in I have I have never came across a hotel where every single one of the staff we interacted with were soo professional and friendly! We booked this hotel as there was issues with our flight to Derry so we needed a bed as we had travelled from Australia so with all the hassle at the airport we were simply exhausted. The lads up in the Skybar were so nice and the food was so tasty, well presented and reasonably priced! The other restaurant up on 6th floor is an Indian and the menu looked really good. Selection at breakfast buffet was really good and it was included in our room rate. Our room had massive double bed and great big shower with lovely toileteries. Ironing board and iron in wardrobe. Also had safe and a wee fridge too. Buses outside hotel run to Houslow so be handy for central London to get tube from there. A taxi from airport cost about £20. Buses do run from hotel to airport but didnt suit our times. And the bonus of our stay was check out time was 12midday!

Posto vicinissimo all'aeroporto e alla stazione treni, uno svincolo perfetto per chi deve muoversi lontano da Londra! Staff gentilissimo ed una struttura davvero elegante e accogliente! Quando siamo arrivati non c'era la possibilità di cenare in Hotel e sono stato gentilissimi nell'invitarci ad ordinare da asporto e farcelo consegnare li, davvero personale al top!. La colazione il giorno dopo è stata magnifica, ottima e fresca in uno spazio elegante e luminoso con le sue ampie vetrate. Stra consigliamo!!

Centrally located in the historic city of Durham Delta Hotels by Marriott Durham Royal County boasts views of Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle and is situated on the banks of the River Wear. The property was so comfortable and so very close to the centre of Durham. The standout for us was the excellent service of the staff. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were so positive welcoming and responsive. We even received a Christmas stocking with sweet treats on our door on Christmas morning . Thank you Delta Hotels Marriott Durham Royal county for making our family Christmas in Durham so special and lovely.
