Boasting a fitness centre, Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel is set in Yogyakarta and is 3.5 km from Tugu Monument. 5 km from Malioboro Street, the property is also 5 km away from Malioboro Mall. The property is close to popular attractions like Fort Vredeburg, Scientific Park and Sultan's Palace, all reachable within 6 km. I actually don't know where to start first: - The overall super friendly, warm and helping staff. Every single one of them greets you with a genuine smile and a small chat. - Big and very clean room with a great fluffy bed, perfect shower, good AC and all amenities you would need. - Housekeeping staff (in our case Ana/Fiki) goes above and beyond to keep your room tidy every single day. The hotel is spick and span. - Chef helping my wife at the saturday night grill, explaining all the veggie dishes and making a special veggie pasta to make her happy. - Never seen such an extensive buffet breakfast with a lot of western options. All coffees are possible and made with a smile. - Large pool and very well equipped gym. Both areas are very clean at all times. - Helpful reception and door staff. Overall a great 4 night experience thanks to ALL the staff!

Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in my 25 year travel experience, (it's a very new hotel, perhaps it also.contributed), good location between presidential palace and Istiklal Mosque and across MONAS. Lovely stuff, good breakfast, excellent coffee in breakfast and in cafe, good price/quality performance. When you request something or call for the solution of the problem, a hotel worker immediately knocks at your door immediately.

Excellent place. uncompromised Marriott standards. Fantastic staff, my wife had a medical issue and the staff came out excellent in support to see a Dr. Good mall near by and we had a wonderful stay.

Sort off , no bottle water provided, no laundry bag and no sanitary bag as well. The manager said the reason is earth environmental. Why don’t you try use glass bottles instead ?? We re staying at Indigo/ Marriott they do glass bottles and safe environment for the laundry bag too. To be honest the Alana hotel just don’t want to spend any money for nothing !!!

The feel of granite/ marble building which new hotels lack of. The warmth of staffs greeting upon entering the hotel. Rooms were huge (Executive King & Family Room). Bathroom has a huge tub & shower. Breakfast spread was awesome, full of Indonesian, Western & Eastern choices. The tea selection & coffee were wonderful. It's a pity only had a day of breakfast since it's Ramadhan on our 2nd day. We tried the DimSum Buffet and it was the great ever DimSum Buffet. Thank you Sango Hotel Management for a wonderful hotel.

The Google map shows the office registration address which misled me to walk to terminal 2 with 2 big languages. And finally I had to call taxi to go back. It was a terrible experience.
