Food served was of extraordinary standards and high quality. True hospitality is not about facilities , it’s about service straight from the heart. All other Ryokans should send their staff here for training and to learn true hospitality

Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki está en Aizuwakamatsu, a 3,8 km de Monte limori, y dispone de alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y restaurante. This was our favorite hotel in Japan. It is perched on a steep hillside and has a lovely ambiance that is both luxurious and authentically Japanese. We splurged on a room with a private onsen and its own deck which was absolutely fabulous. We had a car, so getting there did not involve taking a taxi from the train station in town. However, it was a bit difficult to find when we first arrived and Google sent us to a different hotel.

Harumiya Ryokan está muy bien situado en el barrio de Tsuchiyu Onsen, Fukushima, a 24 km de Estación de Nihonmatsu, a 41 km de Estación de Koriyama y a 48 km de Monte Bandai. Beautiful location next to a mountain stream. Out of the way. Well-appointed facility with and friendly, helpful staff.

Moritaya se encuentra en Koriyama, a 18 km de Estación de Koriyama, y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, parking privado gratis y restaurante. Our stay was delightful. The staff was very attentive and responsive to all our questions (unlike in some of the reviews, they were as helpful in the morning as at our arrival, and not stressed at all). We were the only non Japanese speaking guests but they tried their best to answer us in English. The place itself was very clean and beautifully decorated, so was our suite. The beds were very comfortable, the living room spacious, and the private balcony onsen wonderful. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated, like the provided lotions, drinks and supplies. Dinner in a private room with a view on the river, was quite the experience. A flurry of meals, coming one after the other, was very enjoyable. We wished the staff would take a bit more time explaining to us, non Japanese, more about the food itself. The non private onsens were great as well, especially the outdoor one.

Located in Ashinomaki Onsen, 渓谷美の宿川音 provides some air-conditioned rooms with private open-air hot spring bath. The staff is friendly and trying to explain everything even though they have a limited knowledge of English. They have also provided us with some tattoo-tickers for free. The public bath is nice and after it you can enjoy some milk or ice cream from a vending machine or play table tennis in a comfortable yukata provided by the hotel. The breakfast is excellent. I recommend the Japanese style rooms for foreigners as well for fun!

Hotel Route Inn Grand Fukushima Ekimae Higashiguchi se encuentra en Fukushima, a 27 km de Estación de Nihonmatsu y a 49 km de Estación de Koriyama. Al lado de la estación. Por la noche veíamos la torre de Fukushima iluminada por las ventanas, muy bonita. Cerca de Mr Donut, y otras cadenas de alimentación. Baños de aguas ♨️ para ir gratis con la estancia. La habitación grande y espaciosa.

Guesthouse & Kitchen Hace es un alojamiento de 2 estrellas que se encuentra en Iwaki, a 11 km de Aquamarine Fukushima, y que dispone de salón de uso común, restaurante y bar. Breakfast was individually organised and wrapped that made the whole experience a lot more unique. The whole building was an ex taxi noffice in traditional style. Had a cute little table for eating food. Don't expect spacious facilities, but if you are after traditional Japanese experience with home atmosphere, this Guesthouse is for you.
