As many have mentioned, the rooms have a fake decoration window that lets a lot of light inside. The staff promptly helped us cover the window. The design of the room is also great. You have a separate toilet and sink from the shower.

Onsen was a delightful experience after a full day of walking through the overcrowded streets of Kyoto. Daily cleaning was a nice touch.

There is A LOT of variety, maybe 10 different kinds of baths, sauna/steam room (varies for mens/womens sections), overall very interesting and relaxing (but no outside views). Resting area with free ice cream and massage machines after onsen is also incredible. Another thing, this hotel requires to take off shoes at the entrance, so you walk/use elevator/have breakfast without shoes, which is very comfortable, and also they give you traditional clothes which is also cool to wear. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is good, and there is free coffee machine near reception!

Really cool Japanese-style hotel where we leave our shoes in the lobby locker, and get around the hotel in our socks. Although our room didn't have much of an outside-view, the room itself is really cozy and lovely! Furthermore, the hotel itself is located right next to the train station, and that's really convenient!
