This 4-star hotel provides a spa experience, with its hot spring bath and spa centre. The hotel offers a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. It is less than 10-min walking distance from Kyoto station and very easy to find. Our room was quite big considering normal Japanese hotel rooms. Public spa was great including outdoor one. Excellent in overall if you would like to look for a hotel near the station and relax after your day.

Featuring natural hot spring baths on site, Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring is set in Nara, just a 3-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, and private parking is available on site. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Kofuku-ji Temple is 15 minutes on foot. The best hotel I have ever been to in Japan! Staffs are great, super polite, and helpful. Excellent amenities everywhere are super clean, silent, and comfy. The breakfast is delicious; it is a buffet, but the quality and freshness exceed the expectation, better than many other a la carte. They also gave treats on Valentine's Day free ramen for dinner. The onsen is gorgeous! It has an outdoor onsen, too. The room is quite big for a Japanese standard. This hotel is so good and so fair price that I changed my plans just to extend my stay one more day there.

This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. It definitely has a ryokan vibe with its great baths including a private rotemburo and spacious tatami sitting area. The kitchen is big and well-equipped plus there is a good selection of food and snacks in their mini-store or take advantage of the discount they offer to the nearby restaurant/bar. I’ve stayed here twice and can’t wait to come back! Yunomine is so picturesque and the guesthouse is right off the Kumano trail leading over the hill to Hongu.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is well located very close to the public baths and has itself 2 private baths that you can use in private the afternoons. The personal went above and beyond to make our stay better, even with the language differences. They let us store our luggage before the check in time and took it to the train station the day of check out. They lent us some yukatas to stroll in the town and the owner proposed to take some pictures of us outside the ryokan which was a nice detail. The room we stayed, was a typical ryokan room with futon and everything, which complements the charm of the stay. The food was delicious and they even explained us how the items in the dinner were supposed to be enjoyed. Super authentic experience and totally recommended.

It fully immerses you in the atmosphere you can truly feel the essence of Japanese tradition and attention to detail. Very cozy, beautiful, and peaceful. The onsen is a special treat and a must-visit. We’ll definitely come back next year!
