As many have mentioned, the rooms have a fake decoration window that lets a lot of light inside. The staff promptly helped us cover the window. The design of the room is also great. Onsen was a delightful experience after a full day of walking through the overcrowded streets of Kyoto. Daily cleaning was a nice touch.

There is A LOT of variety, maybe 10 different kinds of baths, sauna/steam room (varies for mens/womens sections), overall very interesting and relaxing (but no outside views). Resting area with free ice cream and massage machines after onsen is also incredible. Another thing, this hotel requires to take off shoes at the entrance, so you walk/use elevator/have breakfast without shoes, which is very comfortable, and also they give you traditional clothes which is also cool to wear. Rooms are clean, Wi-Fi is good, and there is free coffee machine near reception!
