really great value for the price. pretty convenient location. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The Onsen was beautiful and relaxing. We didnt add any extra meals to our booking, but they do offer a free Soba soup and beverages at night. Overall all the amenities added a lot of extra value to the relatively low price of accommodation.

It has an excellent location, right in the shopping district next to Takashimaya and Daimaru close by. Gion district is a short walk away. The facilities at the hotel is excellent with a rooftop bar overlooking the river and a public onsen for guests.

the room is spacious, the on-site onsen is bigger than I expected!! It has indoor and outdoor pools which can accomodate lots of people during rush hours. The hotel is just across the subway station, very convenient if you want to go to universal studio.

The family who owns the place for generations is super nice, the matcha tea ceremony was such a meditative thing to see. We had a wonderful experience, we just wish we would have booked their dinner early enough. s So definitely ask about it when booking.
