Loved the location, was only a few minutes away from the Kyoto station, near a bunch of restaurants as well. Room and bed size was very good, really liked the separated toilet and shower.

In a prime location in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Umekoji Kadensho is within 1.7 km of Kyoto Station and 1.8 km of TKP Garden City Kyoto.

Best Accommodation we had in Japan. Location is great, 5 min walk to the Train and all the Shops. The staff are so accommodating and dressed in their kimono's looked amazing. The room, although on the small side, (which is very typical in Japan) was very nice and comfortable. The onsen was lovely after a long day out walking (so out of my comfort zone going into the onsen naked - seperate men and womens by the way) but the best feature is the rooftop bar with the foot bath! The water was so warm and soothing. We also were given a free drink each night during happy hour. They provide large warm jackets to sit outside on the Rooftop. Free Hot Drinks and Soda machine and Icecreams and iceblocks.

We stayed at 4 hotels during our stay in Japan - this was the best. We had a brief stop in Kyoto between our trips to Tokyo and Osaka and this hotel was the perfect place to have our break from the big cities. The highlights for me and my friend were the onsen (you can get free ice cream after your dip in the hot spring too), free coffee/tea/matcha all day long, the laundry facility, and free ramen after 9pm. The hotel room we had was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating. Book your stay at Onyado Nono - you won't regret it.

I loved everything from the warm pick up at the station, to walking in town with Yukata, the beautiful meals, and traditional accommodation. A great place to stay while visiting Kinosaki and the public bath houses.
