You leave your shoes in the lockers right after entrance, and you walk barefoot in the hotel. The place is very well kept. There are different pools in the onsen, and it's not crowded at all. I like the breakfast the best! There is a lot of options, both Japanese and Western. A bit pricey, but value for money.

Best hotel experience during our honeymoon in Japan from the girl at the front desk (unfortunately I can’t remember her name but she was super nice) to the dinner. Our “room” was indeed a small apartment with a private thermal bath and a small garden.
