The hotel was very clean both in the public areas and the hotel room! Staff was very kind and professional. They were very accommodating and well versed in different languages. Very foreign and local people friendly.

In a prime location in the Chuo Ward district, this hotel provides a restaurant, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath. The property is 500 metres from Nakanoshima Park, and within 1.1 km of the city centre. This hotel is fantastic and I didn't want to leave. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. We arrived before checkin and the staff took our luggage and cleaned it before storing it. So we could go out to have lunch and when we came back to our room the luggage was already there. The staff was always helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The Onsen on the top floor was great and always in a good condition. They even had the sauna heated to almost 100°C (which is rare). The outdoor bathtubs were very comfortable. The hotel has nice little services such as free ice cream or a manga library. So it is also very child-friendly. The breakfast is Japanese style, but a bit on the expensive side (around 2400 Yen). However you get a lot of choices (including sashimi, tempura, soups, etc). So I would argue it is worth the price. Would book this hotel again!

Attractively set in Kyoto, Sora Niwa Terrace Kyoto features air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. The property is non-smoking and is situated 400 metres from Gion Shijo Station. Second time staying at this beautiful hotel. First things first, the staff are just wonderful. The Onsen has an incredible view (be sure to stay two nights, as there are two Onsens. But only one with a view. Gender is swapped each day. The rooftop bar with foot baths is a lovely touch. The rooms are very comfortable and the location is perfect. Again the staff are incredible. We will never stay anywhere else in Kyoto. Can't wait to return!!

LIBER HOTEL Osaka features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and ticket service, along with free WiFi. The hotel has a garden and provides a terrace. Liber Hotel exceeded my expectation. I was just checking hotels close to Universal, and this hotel popped up on Booking with super high marks. And now I understand they really deserve that mark. It's a massive hotel with lots of facilities. Highlight is their sightseeing escalator, you can see the whole Universal. Our room was facing another side and you could see the Ferris Wheel which was a such surprise for me at night time. It's super convenient since you only walk half minute from the train station to the hotel. There's also a 7-11 convenience store about 200 metres away. It's only one station away from Universal or you can choose to walk there too. It's also easy to transfer to other trains to the central of Osaka. Morning breakfast is a little bit pricy, for adult is 4400 yen and kids above 6 years old is 2200yen, but I feel it worth it since the food quality was awesome. The food was variety and fresh, so many options. The restaraunt also has a massive patio you could eat outside and enjoy the view of the harbor. For the ranking, I will give them 10/10.

This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Yunomine onsen itself is a wonderful place and J-Hoppers offers a perfect spot to enjoy it. Very well organized staff, great value for money, amazing onsen.

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The property is absolutely gorgeous, we had the traditional Japanese room which was spacious, clean and very beautiful. The host greeted us, explained everything in great detail, took some pictures and then we were invited to a tea ceremony that was hosted by his mother. I would definitely book the room again - probably the best experience in our Japan trip.

Great hotel with a beautiful mountain view. Onsen there is a perfect relaxation experience. The location is very close to the city and train station, and it’s even more convenient with the shuttle bus. Staffs are super friendly, warm, and helpful. We want to come back again in winter time.
