From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and were very flexible with arrivaltime. They went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary needs, showing exceptional care and effort. Their kindness and high level of service made our stay special - thanks! The onsens were a highlight—especially the outdoor ones. The variety of both private and shared baths allowed us to enjoy peaceful, relaxing moments in beautiful surroundings. As it's a smaller ryokan, the atmosphere was intimate and personal, which made our experience more unique. We stayed for two nights, and the ryokan surprised us with two different dining experiences in two separate rooms. It was a fun and memorable touch—and the food was excellent on both nights, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. We highly recommend Ryokan Yamanoyu and would love to return one day. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro está en Minamioguni, a 40 km de Monte Aso y a 49 km de Lago Kinrinko. Ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y parking privado gratis. The staff service was excellent. The room is very spacious and cosy. From the room balcony, we can enjoy the stunning autumn foliage and colours. The Japanese style breakfast was nicely presented and delicious

El Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan cuenta con 5 baños termales, entre los que se incluye un baño cueva de 30 metros de largo. La cena por el chef Hiromichi Ide y los baños termales fueron increíbles

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Staff is very nice. Dinner and Breakfast are perfact and elegant. Onsen is also very good.

Let me start with an advise; when you come to Japan go to Kyushu and stay in this hotel. My wife and I enjoy our last evening here (we stayed 5 nights) and this hotel is excellent. The location, the room (we stayed in the suite), the food, but most of all the excellent staff. The staff make you feel welcome, the service is warm and personal, yet professional at the same time. They know who you are from the moment you arrive. One of the best performances we experienced and we travel a lot. My wife has a rare allergy and they provided special meals for here. Exceptional. The hotel is also very clean and is recently renovated. The onsen in the room and the public one are comfortabel / beautiful. The location is perfect to visit Mount Aso, Kumamoto, Beppu, Oita, Takachiho gorge et cetera. Can’t recommend this place enough!

El Fumoto Ryokan ofrece alojamiento tradicional de estilo japonés con encanto histórico, así como varios baños termales exteriores e interiores. Very good as had multiple hot springs to try out from. Staff were friendly and helpful in bringing the luggages. Food was good
