Shikinosato Hanamura se encuentra en Minamioguni, a 39 km de Monte Aso, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Room was very spacious. There were 3 heaters in the room, so definately warm enough to anyone's liking if you needed. Room onsen was nice. Food was in a private dining room for dinner and breakfast. There was a very nice lounge to relax in as well. There is a public cave onsen that was quite special. In winter, roads may have snow and need to be wary if driving in.

Ryokan Yamanoyu está en Minamioguni, a 40 km de Monte Aso, y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Loved everything about this ryokan, staff were really kind, food was exceptional and onsens were very good too.

El Okyakuya, construido en 1722, está situado en el distrito histórico del distrito de Kurokawa Onsen. Cannot recommend this ryokan enough. Amazing service, clean rooms, and one of the best service from the staff in my experience (all were exceptionally friendly and helpful). Great attention to detail as well (left our shoes by the heater so when we checked out our feet were nice and warm). The food is also another highlight. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. If you’re not a fan of horse sashimi, do not worry, the taste is not strong. Light enough for you to try something new and finish the portion. Onsens were also great. I love how they swap female and male baths depending on the time of day so you can try all they have to offer. There’s also two private baths as well for couples who want to go together. Place is also tattoo friendly (my husband had on his shoulder but it was not brought up). Thanks for an amazing stay!

Hanare no Yado Hanagokoro está en Minamioguni, a 40 km de Monte Aso y a 49 km de Lago Kinrinko. Ofrece alojamiento con restaurante y parking privado gratis. The staff was friendly, and I had an enjoyable experience at the onsen. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. My skin felt wonderful after using the onsen. The public onsen was also impressive, providing a chance to enjoy the hot natural springs under the moon and stars, with the autumn leaves falling gently around. It was very nice. Additionally, the restaurant served delicious food/drink.

El Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan cuenta con 5 baños termales, entre los que se incluye un baño cueva de 30 metros de largo. La cena por el chef Hiromichi Ide y los baños termales fueron increíbles

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. After seeing the village, we felt very content about getting one of the best and cosy ryokans, the mossy forest was a highlight for us and the baths were beautiful. The staff offered to pick and drop us off at the bus stop and greeted us at the door, very friendly and polite. ♡ The food was also great too, i am still wondering how the chef got even a subtle piece of watermelon to taste so good, impressive.

El Hotel Yumeshizuku está situado en Minami Aso, en la región de Kumamoto, a 10 km de Naka-dake, y cuenta con baño termal y sauna. The views and location were sublime. El Fumoto Ryokan ofrece alojamiento tradicional de estilo japonés con encanto histórico, así como varios baños termales exteriores e interiores. Private, traditional, clean. Perfect service. Fumoto Ryokan always cater to our needs even before our arrival. Most of their onsen are private rooms so it is very nice for small groups like us who appreciate getting our own space. One of the highlight would be the meals, loved everything they serve here, they also have selections of beers and other alcohol, try their local beers! They are also strategically located in the center of Kurokawa so it is easy to explore the town.
