Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. The staff were incredibly accommodating, their care and attention made our visit relaxed and joyful, the Kaiseki was excellent and well balanced, showcasing local delicacies and providing an excellent view into tradition. Being able to use the Onsen with a tattoo and not having to cover it up was a pleasant surprise, the Onsen was excellent and very clean (I only used the outside pool). We were picked up by their free shuttle bus at the Shinkansen station and dropped off as well. We have to thank all of the staff, but a special mention should be given to Meguro, who took great care of us.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei ligger precis framför Matsushima-bukten och erbjuder boende med gratis fast internet. It’s a ryokan style hotel, with onsen, which allow tattoos and a private onsen too, which is amazing! The views of the ocean are breathtaking, as well as the many small islands that fill the horizon. The staff are beyond amazing and the room was just fantastic! 10/10!

Pension Kamifuji ligger i Osaki och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, stadsutsikt, en trädgård med en terrass och tillgång till en bastu och ett bubbelbad. Very nice lodge. We had the place to ourselves and had therefore space to waste. We could even use the kitchen.

Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo ligger i Sendai, 27 km från Sendai City Community Support Center, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en... Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Suzukiya Ryokan har ett perfekt läge i området Kamasaki Onsen i Shiroishi, 49 km från Sendai City Community Support Center, 47 km från Sendai slott och 48 km från Zuihoden. Everything was perfect! Dinner and breakfast were so delicious. We had a wonderful experience of Japanese entertainment such as onsen, wearing yukata and sleeping on futon.

The staff were amazing, catering to every need. The place is quiet and very zen. It is perfect for those looking for peace and want to meditate. The onsen facilities are clean and heavenly. There was a private onsen in my room and I enjoyed it ALOT.

竹泉荘 Chikusenso Onsen ligger i Zao, 42 km från Sendai City Community Support Center, och erbjuder boende med ett fitnesscenter, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Breakfast was huge, healthy and very tasty, a solid foundation for a day full of attractions. Coffee very good, but thats obvious in Japan, perfectly composed with fresh food, light but caloric.
