The staff were AMAZING and went above and beyond to help us coordinate so many pieces of our trip. From taxis, to dinner reservations to shipping our luggage... They did it all with ease. The rooms were large, clean and quiet. The Onsen was marvelous. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Excellent guest house - would absolutely recommend! It is run by a lovely couple who were very kind and welcoming. They don't really speak much English, but we managed through Google translate. It was lovely and warm and clean. They do breakfast and have a small bar where you can order food and drink. They will provide towels for free if you ask them. Shared shower/washroom and individual male/female toilet. They have a little dog that is very friendly. Very quiet overnight. We'd booked a bed each in the male / female dorms, but we were lucky and got the room at the back that had two beds in it, which was a nice surprise.

Our stay at Yadoya-Shiroganeya was nothing short of magical. Firstly, the house itself is beautiful and incredibly well kept. It's like stepping into a time machine but also with some modern conveniences. Secondly, Maki-San, the host, is wonderful. She's warm and welcoming and communicates very well in English. We had such a good time learning about the house, its history, and also about herself and how she runs the place. Thirdly, the food. I cannot stress enough how much of a culinary experience this is. The food served by Maki and her mother is exceptional. Locally-sourced and impeccably prepared, we had everything from fresh sashimi, seasonal vegetables, local beef, tempura, and soba noodles. It was honestly one of the best meals we had in Japan! The food alone makes price justifiable, never mind the rest of the experience. An absolute highlight of our trip, we'd love to stay with Maki again one day.

Residence Yasushi está en Nozawa Onsen, a 22 km de Ryuoo Ski Park y a 33 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani. From the moment I stepped into Residence Yasushi, I was captivated. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully warm decorations, extending from the lobby to the dining area, immediately made me feel at home. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding. The private onsen was a wonderful bonus, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The breakfast was delightful, and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of allowing guests to use the dining area for takeaway dinners. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the people. A heartfelt thank-you to Keisuke and Aisha for their exceptional hospitality. They made my stay so memorable and special that I found myself wishing I could extend my visit. Residence Yasushi is truly a gem!

Luego por supuesto el onsen, uno interior y otro exterior, super relajante a 40 grados delante de una cascada preciosa. Las camas tatamis eran muy cómodos. Gracias por todo!
