Located in the northern area of Okayama, Yunogo Onsen HOTEL YUNOMORI BISYUNKAKU features 8 public indoor and outdoor baths, a game room, and a store. 2 hours to JR Okayama Station by car or train. I found this hotel as a halfway point between two cities I was visiting by pure chance. And I’m very happy I did. The room was beautiful, with its own open air bath overlooking the trees. The hotel itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens, on a hilltop overlooking a valley. The dinner was an experience in itself, and the breakfast buffet was of ectremely high quality as well. I was the only non-Japanese but staff were incredibly accommodating, patient and helpful. A highlight of my trip.

Set 18 km from Former Residence of Mitsukuri Genpo, Kifuno Sato offers 4-star accommodation in Mimasaka and has an open-air bath, free bikes and a garden. The hotel interior was very classy and beautiful. The staff were attentive and friendly. We arranged for a pickup from Hayashino station with their van as we had 4 pieces of luggage and everything was communicated smoothly in the booking chat. The room was amazing, and it came with a private bath. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. The price of the room included free flow drinks (except red and white wine). This included the drinks in the room minibar, and during dinner and breakfast. They have an amazing selection of sake and sochu. Additionall, this ryokan had a theme of flower arrangement and there was 70 different flower arrangements on the property. There was a booth to make our own flower arrangements and we get to keep it. There is also a public indoor and outdoor bath. Overall, a great experience. The hotel also sent us via van to Hayashino station where we left for Himeji.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the person who had not made the booking arrived first and they let him check in, and I had booked the wrong dates but they sorted it out right away. Very close to Okayama Station, fanatic indoor and outdoor onsen baths, sauna and cold pool on top floor with free ice cream, free noodles in the evening, decent size room, convenient coin laundry area. Kept our cases after we checked out until the evening. Quiet, good mattress, would definitely stay again.

Conveniently located in the Kita Ward district of Okayama, Super Hotel Okayama Station Higashiguchi is situated 1.1 km from Rian Bunko Art Museum, less than 1 km from Sky Mall 21 Shopping Street and a... The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay (and my birthday) a lovely experience. I liked the eco-friendly aspects of the hotel, the delicious breakfast buffet, the free drink time, and the onsen. You choose your own pillow in the lobby, based on your preferred firmness, and take any toiletries you need like mouthwash, shampoo, body lotion, etc. The breakfast hours are early but it's well worth waking up for. (Note: it's more Japanese-style than Western-style but incredibly filling and they kept refilling the trays.) During the free "happy hour" you can make your own cocktails or mocktails, or enjoy red or white wine (but no beer). The onsen was small but nice. The water was around 42 degrees C, I believe, and it was a nice way to sweat and relax away the day's walking. You can even check to see how crowded it is through a menu on the TV in the room and the women's onsen is nice and safe (there's a separate lock code for the door that you're given upon check-in).

Dormy Inn Kurashiki is a 6-minute walk from Kurashiki Train Station and a 40-minute drive from Okayama Airport. Amazing! I think I only paid 1000yen each extra for buffet style breakfast! Really Good beacons!! Cofee also free all day, matcha latte was surprisingly good. They also offer Yakut and ice cream after the bath! Staffs are so professional in every department, very well run hotel.

Excellent location and facilities. Everything was clean and new, and the room and breakfast were more than worth what I paid for them. The onsen was a really nice bonus. Overall it delivered the experience of a much more expensive hotel at a reasonable price, far superior to what you could get at any APA hotel.
