The building looked brand new. The onsen was very nice, and was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel for my trip. The free table tennis was a nice bonus, and the rooms were very quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also nice with a variety of foods.

Situated in Kawagoe, 16 km from Saitama Super Arena, Hatago COEDOYA features air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace. The desk was 24hours and despite some difficulties in speaking English the person there really did do his best to try and help me with something I needed to get done, and was very friendly about it even at midnight. After that I was given a room all to myself even though I booked a bunk bed in a dorm style room, and the facilities were excellent. Next what happened was amazing in terms of service. There was an issue with the request I made when I arrived so the hotel went out of their way in a BIG BIG way to help me sort out the predicament I was in. I've stayed at a bunch of hotels and havn't experienced such level of service. It was very memorable and I would be sure to stay the property again given the chance. It is a very value-for-money choice to stay.

Situated just 7.9 km from Hisaizu Shrine, OSO Homestay features accommodation in Koshigaya with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. My room was incredibly comfortable, and I had a very pleasant stay at OSO. The owner of the property, Mr. Shigeru was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He gave me many good tips for sightseeing both nearby and off the Skytree line! This is an amazing property for guests to experience life in a Japanese household. The price of this property is impossible to beat! despite being a shared house my room was private, and the house was generally quiet throughout the day/night. I also enjoyed talking with other guests. There is a common room where guests can relax and converse. Finally, the location--Sengendai is a quiet area which could be considered either a positive or negative depending on who you ask. But the accessibility via rapid lines south to Tokyo make it a very convenient station for those who wish to travel to the city. There are bikes available for rent at the property which make exploring the area quite easy!
