Dormy Inn Aomori Natural Hot Spring is set in Aomori, 6 km from Sannai-Maruyama site and 43 km from Tsuta Hot Spring. With a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. the facilities of the hotel are just outstanding, the public Onsen, the free massage chairs, desert, comic books and ramen. It's very comfortable staying in the hotel. it's located in a very convenient location too, we walk to all the places we wanted to visit in the Aomori city.

ReLabo -Medical Spa & Stay- features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Aomori. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The location and facility of ReLabo is great, and staff here are really helpful and warm. Public transportation during winter in Aomori could be challenging for visitors, and you can always get help from the hotel. I would like to express thanks for all the helpful staff, especially Araki (not entirely sure I spell the name right, she is a lovely girl with curly hair and glasses, speak perfect English), who helped us book a taxi in a very urgent situation. Historical Ryokan SENYUKAN features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 42 km of Lake Towada and 43 km of Sannai-Maruyama site. This place is an absolute gem. The staff, food, location and room were all exceptional. I would recommend this ryokan to anyone wanting an exceptional ryokan experience. The onsen was also fantastic and the warmest one we came across in our month in Japan.

Featuring an open-air bath, Kameya Hotel is located in the Yunohama Onsen district of Tsuruoka, only 3.5 km from Kamo Aquarium. This ryokan provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Amazing Hotel, even though it is a very traditional and old place, the rooms are very modern and renovated with all the amenities one can think of. Onsen is good too, but very hot. The beach is literally just across the road! The rooms all have an ocean view. Staff is extremely friendly and breakfast is also great. Just watch out to book dinner if possible, as there are not many options to eat around town if you don’t want to take the car.

Situated in Tendo in the Yamagata region, Ichiraku tendo spa & brewery features accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. What a cool place! There were so many opportunities to taste the beer that was brewed locally on-site. From the drinks bar at check-in to the tasting room open all day to the all-you-can-drink plan at dinner, the hotel was really quite generous with their liquid offerings. Even non-drinkers are accommodated with plenty of alcohol-free options. We also liked that they had multiple private baths on site. The main onsen were also quite nice. The food was fantastic and the beef served at dinner was some of the best I've had.

Yuze Hotel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kazuno, 38 km from Appi Kogen Ski Resort. This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and luggage storage space. The room with private onsen was great. The buffet have local cuisine and breakfast was also have a wide spread. Definitely a place for you to enjoy and relax. They also provide free ride from the bus stop to the hotel directly. You can also book a private bath directly at the hotel if the room type don’t come with it at an additional cost.

Situated in Aizuwakamatsu, 3.8 km from Mount Iimori, Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki provides accommodation with a hot spring bath, a public bath and an open-air bath. Spacious space. The private onsen is very nice.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Okawaso offers accommodation in Aizuwakamatsu, 13 km from Aizu Higashiyama Onsen. Each room at this ryokan is air conditioned and comes with a TV. We had an incredible stay here: the ryokan is impressive (especially the arrival with the person playing the shamisen), very beautiful, the food excellent and adaptable (we took vegetarian meals), the establishment is child-friendly (e.g. yukata at their sizes, arrival kits, high chairs and adapted cutlery), the room is magnificent and very suitable for a family. A bookable shuttle service is in place and works very well, allowing us to leave and arrive from Aizu Wakamatsu station. We also reserved the outdoor bath for private use: incredible! The staff is adorable and helpful: thank you very much!

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. everything exceeds my expectations

Situated in Senboku, 7.9 km from Nyuto Hot Spring, 田沢湖水沢温泉郷セルリアンリゾートAoni offers accommodation with ski-to-door access, free private parking and an open-air bath. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. I had dietary needs which they had no problem in changing the set menu for me. Their food was really tasty. The onsen pools were quite small but I appreciated the large sauna and cold water plunge. I would really recommend this hotel.
