Lovely motel in the middle of the Atherton Tablelands. Room was large and comfortable, kitchen well equipped with a microwave, toaster and kettle. There was a nice outdoor veranda with seating and large grounds to walk around (unfortunately it was raining). This place far exceeded our expectations and we wished we had stayed longer.

Wonderful hospitality, everything you could need for cooking with some extras supplied. Thank you Helene we felt at home.

We recently stayed at Sharlynn by the River and it was one of the most relaxing and memorable places we’ve stayed in our travels around the world. From the moment we arrived we felt completely at home. The cabin is beautifully set beside the river and surrounded by lush rainforest. Sitting out on the deck with a morning coffee, listening to the water and the birds, was such a peaceful way to start the day. It really feels like your own private retreat, yet it’s only a short drive into Malanda and perfectly placed for exploring the Atherton Tablelands. Inside, everything has been thoughtfully prepared and is immaculately clean. There are so many lovely touches that make the stay feel special, including generous breakfast provisions and local produce waiting for you in the kitchen. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a comfortable and welcoming space. The hosts, Pam and John, were wonderful. They were friendly and welcoming and clearly take great pride in sharing their beautiful property, while still giving guests complete privacy. We had coffee with them both mornings. Unfortunately my wife had quite a bad sunburn and Pam gave her a lovely hat to improve protection and some lotions to sooth and cure the burn. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed and very lucky to have found such a special place. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to stay in this part of Queensland, Sharlynn by the River really is a hidden gem. I would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Platapus tree ksngaroos rite next to your cabin

Loved the peaceful location surrounded by nature. The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for a quiet escape. The view from the property was beautiful and the whole place felt very calming and private

It was extremely nice to have the breakfast supplies already organized for us upon our arrival. The bed was supper soft and comfortable and I really liked the comfortable bathrobes that were provided also.

Amazing quiet and full of animals. we saw so many from the balcony.

Love it that we r in the midst of wildlife. The kitchen is big and there are one double bed and one single bed. The room is big and we can put fruits in the bird feeder. It is a heaven for bird watcher and wildlife lovers.

I had a wonderful time staying at The Church. It was comfortable, had everything I needed and was in a great location for travelling around and seeing the Table lands. Highly recommend this accommodation.

The location was central and very convenient

Wonderful spot in historic Yungaburra, just a short wslk to centre of town. Very spacious, spolless house, very comfortable.

Location Ideal to explore Yungaburra. Comfortable bed. Nice rear verandah to relax. A friendly green frog came to visit. Very well equipped.

Great location. Walked to the river track to find wild platypus. The restaurant we had dinner at was also 5 min walk.

Very stylish, quiet and perfect for romantic getaways. Lots to see and do nearby. Nice gardens and seating area to have your morning coffee with the complementary nespresso pods. The night sky is beautiful when it's not cloudy.

Great location. Tonnes of space and great views

The location was excellent. Plenty of birds, ducks to see. A great deck to see scenery from. All amenities clean.
