Everything my room the view from the balcony over looking the ocean the roof top lounge was just as amazing you can watch the sunset every evening at 6 , dinner on the beach buffet style at 6 to 8 , jazz on Friday by the pool at night just amazing views

The room was very clean & comfortable beds, good WiFi, extremely friendly staff. Jose, and his bother , Ken and Barry were very helpful with any request we made. The food in the restaurant was so good! Lots of amenities so you really don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. They had a sunset cruise, snorkeling and kayaks to name a few. Beautiful dock!

I had a great stay at Victoria House! They offers a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are kept very clean, and I loved how many activities are available directly through the resort. We had a blast with the scuba diving and snorkeling combo. It makes for a very convenient and enjoyable vacation.

The property was beautiful, clean and well maintained on a daily basis by housekeeping. Rose, Lorena and Susy were super helpful and very responsive at all times! They even surprised me with beautiful birthday decorations in the room.

Location, restaurant and only 6 rooms

I loved this resort! I'm so happy we found it and Raquel made us feel right at all. The entire staff was great to be honest. When we walked in my god child screamed, "This is as big a house." The AC stood out the most to me. I've been to island and often times the place wouldn't get cold enough but when we walked in I was punched in the face by the draft of Alaska, just as I like it. The pool was phenomenal. Had I not dragged the girls out, they wouldn't have done anything else. Everyday our room was cleaned before we got back. If you know how to kayak, paddle board or wind surf it is all available to you for FREE. You're also in close proximity to secret beach and I'd much rather have a shorter drive to Secret Beach than to the city because the road to the city is easier.

I liked that I had complimentary pickup and drop off. The room was very clean, staff was welcoming, checked if I need anything when they saw me and attended to my needs efficiently. They had a pool on the roof where I relaxed a bit and there was also a second pool downstairs. The place was quiet enough for me and relaxing

This place is realy amazing. Paradise! We received a very warm welcome from the staff after our arrival. Staff is very friendly and they made their best to meet every our wish we had. Ever and Axcel are the best guys! Especially Axcel made our stay very special. Room is very nice, with kitchen. For the transportation you can choose the van shuttle (2hours) or their own boat from San Pedro (45 minutes) for a very fair price. If you want they can arrange the stop at the supermarket and you can buy what you need. Water is available in the room for free. If you want you can eat at the restaurant. They have very good food and coctails. Prices little bit higher, but acceptable because everything is fresh and the resort is far away from the town. Beach is beautiful, with white sand. And the Barrier Reef is unbelievable! You can snorkel whole day if you want, directly from the beach. There are beautiful corals on the right/south side of the reef. We have seen dolphins on the reef, nurse sharks, eagle rays, sting rays, lobsters, puffer fishes, moon jelly fish, squids, cuttlefish, and a lots of other fishes. Beautiful place to stay for holiday, one od the best places we have visited.

The cleaning team comes every day

Belize Budget Suites was a nearly perfect stay. The apartments are comfortable, creativly decorated and convenient. Comfortable bed, hot shower, working tv, good ac, beautiful yard. What more does a budget traveler need?

This was our first trip to Belize and Ambergris Caye. Our group of 4 well-traveled adults (two in late 50s and two in late 20s) stayed for 3 nights at the Ambergris Sunset Hotel. We booked this hotel planning to stay here for the initial 3 days upon our arrival by Water Taxi (took the Caribbean Sprinter, as from the dock it was a straight 5-minute walk to this hotel) to Ambergris Caye – San Pedro. The Ambergris Sunset Hotel is located on the Lagoon side of the Island (and is directly across from the restaurant “Caliente”). The location of this hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the town of San Pedro. The town is very busy with a lot of golf cart traffic and noise; however, this hotel’s location seemed much quieter. We booked two rooms (one family room, and one double room). Although each room was very basic (for example think basic cottage/camp or hostel type room), each room was clean and comfortable, and had a small fridge, ceiling fans as well as air conditioning. As can be seen from the posted pictures of this hotel, there is a small pool with a surrounding wooden deck and picnic tables and deck chairs. From the deck and pool there was a nice view of the Lagoon/fishing boats/fruit market vendors. We enjoyed sitting around/in the pool, enjoying a “Belikin” beer from the refrigerator in our rooms (note, there is a store just around the corner where you may purchase beer and bottled water. There is also a very nice outdoor restaurant on this property that serves reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. It was such a relaxing spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast (for guests, 1 cup of coffee was included, and breakfasts were approximately $12 BZD (or $6 USD) – I preferred their breakfast special that included 4 delicious Fry jacks, eggs of your choice – I chose an omelette, beans, and fruit).

Well maintained, clean, comfortable, full kitchen, roof pool, cart rental, central location.

Brand new and beautiful property. We were the very first guests and were treated like royalty. The suite was beautiful, clean, very spacious and perfectly located. 10/10 loved it.

Nice place just by the coast, comfortably outside of the sometimes manic golf cart dreadlock of the town center. The walk on the beach side to dead center is about 15ish minutes, 10ish to the first restaurants. Has a good chilling area outside with a palapa, chairs and hammocks. Thw staff is lovely and helped us with snorkeling tours and golf cart rental. The room was roomy with two beds and a desk + a minifridge. There are good breakfast options a few blocks walk toward the town and a nice coffee stand within premises which opens a bit later in the morning for people who don't usually wake up at 6am like us.The beach bar outside is far enough away that there is no sound pollution from there coming to the rooms (at least to the Casa Blanca building where we were). Decent internet for an island location: 26.90MB/s down, 25.17MB/s up, with 44ms latency.

How welcoming and down to earth they were.

Location, location, location. This is right in the middle of downtown San Pedro. You are within walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and convenience stores. Not to mention right next to the water taxis. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful - especially Chefy who replies instantly and is the best. The rooms are clean with great AC. I would definitely return!
