This is a beautiful house and full of amazing artefacts, memorabilia and beautiful pottery which was made by the host Kevin. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated and has all amenities required for an enjoyable stay and is only a short walk to the center of town. Kevin and Lesley make you feel right at home and almost part of the family and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a delicious breakfast, all homemade and even share their family recipes with you. Breakfast time is very enjoyable and not rushed as Kevin and Lesley take time to engage with all the guests and the conversation flows. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area and with recommendations for thing to do all over Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lark and Loon.

Beautiful Victorian mansion. It takes your breath away on arrival and the inside makes you feel very fancy. The three course breakfast was amazing! Don’t sleep in and miss it. I also really liked the 11am checkout.
