2nd visit to this unique property. Options of a hotel like room; efficiency or cottages. Beautiful grounds( the owners upkeep to gardens; ponds and boardwalk is impressive! It’s right on the st Lawrence for beautiful views from a common outdoor area and scattered chairs. Cottages are right on the water overlooking gardens each with their own deck table chairs and bbq Inside offers a full kitchen; living room and bedroom. Full bathroom ( just know there’s 1 step up/down to bathroom/kitchen.) Pine interior with clean older furniture. Usually a futon for a couch . Lots of character and themed in nautical decor and Knick Knacks Quiet area just off the road Breakfast included in the price . Basic but enough to satisfy We’ve only stayed 1 night each of our 2 times as just passing through the area. 10 minutes from Prescott for shopping/groceries.

What sets this place apart is the beautiful location, overlooking the St. Lawrence River, and the exceptional friendliness of the owners. They felt like friends. And they gave us a great recommendation for what to do for dinner and poking around the area. They also relocated us to the back of the building so we would have less road noise and a better view. The bathroom had been redone recently and was exceptionally clean.

Very clean dare I say immaculate. The hotel is very well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. My only grouse is the fact that, like many of this category of hotel, is the indiscriminate use of plastic and disposable dishes at breakfast. When are they going to get on board with the rest of us who are concerned with this unnecessary use of plastic and paper when there are good ecological alternatives.

This is great value!! The staff was awesome! They had a spotlessly clean pool with lounge chairs and towels. They served nachos and cheese in the afternoon. Always had coffee on. The included breakfast was better than I’ve ever had. Tons of hot and cold choices. Fresh and CLEAN. Tina was constantly around cleaning and even served coffee. Coffee, microwave and fridge in room.
