It's a great spot for a night while driving around CR. The owner was lovely to talk to (although you need some Spanish to do so). He helped us spot Toucans and sloths and it was really a delightful little place. Breakfast was good in the morning.

We spent some incredible days. The place is all nature. The view of the forest is beautiful, with lots of birds during the day, and at night we heard some nocturnal bird calls, although we didn't hear them, but the sound was astonishing. Fresh and healthy food is produced on the farm and in the garden. The river is very clean and crystal-clear, and the trails are beautiful. Here you can rest and sleep soundly. We were able to ride horses, even though it rained a little, which was lovely. The horses are noble and healthy. I'll be back soon to see the tree we planted. The entire farm will soon be a forest; they have a good forest regeneration program.

We traveled as a family of three with our adult daughter. The only hitch was finding the place. Ask the host to send you a photo of the driveway from the street. We had a hard time finding the property. We loved the open air Cabana, the property, the privacy and the dipping pool. Of all the places we stayed in Costa Rica this was our favorite! We left Rio Celeste for our last night before flying out and we were sad to not spend more time there.

These houses are really special. Inside the "jungle" (at least for us it seemed a jungle :-)) Full of animals, birds. It has a big meeting place where you can play games, spend time with your loved ones. The rooms are comfortable, have everything we needed. The bathroom is small but who cares. The beds are perfect, the staff are just fantastic! We loved the meals they cooked for us. I just did not understand what people were complaining about noise. It is the nature with water, spring and birds. Perfect for relaxation.

We had three generations traveling together, so we filled all three tents. The setting was gorgeous and it offered a truly unique experience. It rained quite a bit, but that’s to be expected in a rainforest. If you’re prepared for it, it’s awesome. Glamping probably isn’t for everyone, but we loved it. The area offers loads of nature related things to do and we found pretty good restaurants nearby. We had little kids with us and could do the atv tour, but wish we would have figured out a way to do it in shifts.
