The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Gasthaus right in the middle of Lübbenau. You can reach everything from there within a walking distance, perfect for discovering the wider forest or starting cycling or kayak trips. The included breakfast buffet was of exceptional quality! I will definitely stay here again next time!

The castle is located in its own park. It’s steeped in history. Beautiful rooms, amazing restaurant, wonderful bar and very friendly and welcoming staff.

The property itself was acceptable, but it lacked basic essentials. Simple items like a dish sponge were missing, and the amount of shampoo provided was so minimal that even showering became something to ration. Overall, the experience felt below standard and did not reflect the price we paid.

The apartment was very clean and modern with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy, and the location in the middle of Lehde was beautiful and so peaceful, especially in the evening after most of the tourists had left. Having use of kayaks/canoes provided by the hosts was fantastic - we were able to head out into the waterways of the Spreewald from the garden of the property and spent most of a day exploring. There is quite a short direct paddling route to Gasthaus Wotschofska, but taking the long way round and exploring the quieter byways was delightful - the suggested route between 11-16:00 works well. I recommend planning food in advance as the nearest shop is in Lubbenau and very few of the restaurants/cafes/beer gardens are open past 5 or 6 PM. Also don't be surprised when people don't speak much English - we only heard it spoken by other visitors twice the whole time we were there. It's not difficult to get by though, everybody was very friendly and helpful! If you want a peaceful break somewhere beautiful and unique, I can't recommend Lehdsche Heubuchten enough.

The area was nice, close to the canals and hiking road. The room was clean and tidy and the bed, mattress and blanket was good enough.
