The location is wonderful, probably unique, high on the valley side, in quiet forest. Many of the guests will be coming and going daily walking the Malerweg, but access to this amazing location is also possible by forest track and car. There’s the possibility of a wonderful breakfast overlooking the beautiful Saxon Switzerland landscape, before a day walking the trails. Very nice evening meals available upto 18.30, but there’s also very good inns and restaurants in the surrounding villages if you are out later. There is also a free pass that allows you to use local trains, buses and ferry’s to explore the area, which is a great idea and cuts down on people driving. We had a great time walking sections of the Malerweg using the passes to get to starting points and walking back to a lovely meal as the sunset and a comfortable bed with nothing but the sound of the wind in the trees to lull you to sleep!

Everything was perfect! I had stress before check in, because so many reviews mentioned problems for the check in, but I called them in advanced and let them know what time we were arriving. They sent us immediately a code for the keys (via text)and you can basically arrive any time you want as long as you get this code! Super easy! Breakfast was lovely too! Location convenient to see the area!I would choose it again!

Location is quite and picturesque with convenient connections to everyone. Kitchen in the room is fully equipped with nice selection of cutlery and dishes. Breakfast is good with wide variety of cheese, spreads, breads, tee and delicious jams of crazy flavors. Also chairs in the breakfast hall are comfy provoking to sit and stare in the windows. Bed in the room is amazing, I haven't slept that good for ages! Compared to other hotels nearby parking facilities seem to be outstanding.
