Our stay at Ferienwohnung Weiden was fantastic. We chose the apartment for it's bedroom setup and proximity to Weiden. Located in a small village just outside of the west side of Weiden, it offered a perfect location and ease to Autobahn. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked with apartment was. Everything I needed was provided which included kitchen supplies, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Having access to a washer was great and there were drying racks in the apartment. Though we didn't need it, there was even a crib and other baby supplies. Check in was uneventful. Max met us at the door and had the keys ready to go. He also has the important information in a nice booklet on the coffee table (Deutsch/English). Parking for the apartment is located between the two garage doors on the smaller building in the photos. The area around the apartment was very quiet. I could easily see doing an extended stay and having plenty of room for a small family.

Great Spot, Super Comfortable! Loved staying here. The kitchen had everything— dishes, pans, pots, coffee, oil, salt—you name it. Perfect if you like to cook your own meals. The room was big and sunny, and the bed was super comfy. Lots of parking, which made things easy. The owners were really nice too. Would definitely stay again!

Room for a suite was very spacious. If I was there for meeting in a business compacity, the outer room could work for an impromptu meeting area. The bed was comfortable, and as found the light was effectively canceled out by the draw down blinds. Mini bar had affordable rates.

The area in the Bayerish Oberpfalzen Wald is truly beautiful. The views out of the bedroom window!!! The friendly greeting at reception by the host who spoke fluent English and was very pleasant and informative. He said his mum will be here at check out time the next morning who doesn't speak much English, but luckily I spoke some German and we understood most things. She, Regina , was very pleasant and smiley also. Good choice of breakfast and dinner. Great staff. We liked the dinner there too, although the salad dressing (already on the salad) and the clear soup were extremely salty. They were rushed off their feet busy at dinner time, really fully booked! Quiet area. Really clean hotel apart from the staircase which also was relatively clean. Nicely decorated. Nice plants around too attracting bees 🙂 A must welcome bottle of sparkling water awaited us which opened with a little bang like when you open champagne. Great on a hot day after several hours of driving. The room had a little fridge which was cool but not that cold. And the little extras in the bathroom....we're a real surprise! Apart from fresh white towels and clean white bedsheets, in the bathroom there was a mini sewing repair kit, a toothbrush with a mini toothpaste, a pack of tissues (as well as a box of tissues) a little pack with make up remover pads and cotton buds and a mini nail file! Sanitary bags. And a larger bag for the laundry in the wardrobe. I think a shower cap would have been great too.
