What a fabulous stay!!! We had such a lovely stay at the Bergmann family home. It really felt like a home away from home, just in a beautiful setting. What stood out most was how thoughtful everything was. Every room is well appointed and practical, and you can tell the home has been set up with families in mind. There were quite a few games, little treat for everyone, something special for Rosco (our golden retriever), chocolates and Coke for our daughter, a great selection of coffee and tea, some basic cooking ingredients, and even the little toiletries you might need in the bathroom. And best of all, there was a Sauna for us to use. There was also a lovely bottle of red wine from the nearby ALT winery, which we enjoyed so much that we’d definitely recommend visiting them too. Rosco absolutely loved it here. He had some green space to explore, and we loved being able to walk straight into the vineyards with him. The vineyards are about a 5-7 minute walk away, and the town centre is around 10-12 minutes on foot, so we could enjoy the peace and quiet while still having everything nearby. The sunsets were fantastic too. What really made our stay special was the warmth and care from the Bergmann family. They answered all our questions so thoughtfully and gave us lots of helpful recommendations, which made it easy to really experience the area rather than just visit it. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and want them to have a great stay. We wouldn't call it luxurious, but everything we needed for the stay. It was exactly the kind of holiday we needed: peaceful, comfortable, surrounded by nature, and full of those little touches that make you feel looked after. We left feeling genuinely rested. I’d highly recommend this home, especially to families and anyone travelling with a dog. It’s a beautiful, welcoming family home in a wonderfully quiet neighbourhood, and we’d be very happy to come back.
