Beautiful bedroom and public rooms . Lovely location. My Spanish is non existent but Margarita made nm3 feel very welcome. Simple but nice breakfast with views over the valley. Wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Posada Gran Sol
Super friendly hostess, a good breakfast with delicious coffee, and a very relaxed atmosphere with flexible meal times. You can come and go as if it were your own home. Everything was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was great, and there was a huge wardrobe with plenty of space for clothes and luggage. The location is beautiful, with a fantastic view from the bedroom. We were travelling by motorcycle, and rain was forecast overnight. The hostess kindly offered to let us park our motorcycles in her private shed to keep them dry. Such a thoughtful gesture. We speak little to no Spanish, but despite the language barrier, the hostess went out of her way to help us and communicate with us. She was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Great place! Lots of services like swimming pool, tennis court, ping pong and other games. The family running the Posada is friendly and eager to help with any request or giving you recommendations on the nearby area. The breakfast was also nice. The location is great to visit Santander, the museum of Altamira, nearby caves and the seaside towns like Suances or Comillas.

Spacious home and extremely kind hostess
What we liked the most was the attention given by Alfredo, he is very kind and gave us a lot of recommendations, another thing we loved was the silence of the place, perfect to make a getaway with a car and see the surrounding villages!
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host Maria—oh my goodness, what an amazing person! She was kind, happy, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation itself was impeccable from top to bottom, we had a lovely and restful night. To top it off, the breakfast was awesome !! We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Highly recommended
Breakfast buffet was excellent, massive spread, lots of choice, quality ingredients. Our room was spotless and spacious with a big private terrace, and lots of space for clothes and belongings, it had a useful little fridge and a nice spa bath.

I loved this little posada (inn) it was lovely and cosy. Such an atmospheric place. Our room was in the attic, it was clean and comfortable. There was a shower head over a spa bath which was very nice after a long day travelling on a motorcycle. The staff were all very professional and kind and spoke some English. Some members of staff understood French too. The restaurant was really lovely and we had a good three course meal which was very good indeed. We only stayed one night but I would definitely return there. It was very good value for money. Secure parking for the motor bike and a lovely quiet location.
Private parking outside, very big room, comfortable big bed, big bathroom, A/C, clean, near the highway, washing machines gas station, mini market and coffee at 20m. A small pool. Automatic machines for coffee and snacks.
