I spent two nights at Hôtel de la Corniche in Brest and it truly felt like discovering a hidden gem. The place has the quaint charm of a cottage, with an interior that is both warm and tastefully decorated. It is wonderfully quaint and full of character — a far cry from impersonal modern hotels. The common areas are beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches everywhere: carved wooden furniture, a vintage chandelier, a cozy fireplace, and nautical accents that remind you you're in Brittany. I especially appreciated the effort to create a welcoming atmosphere — it's a place that invites you to slow down and relax. The owner was exceptionally friendly, the kind of host who genuinely enjoys talking to his guests and sharing stories. His warm hospitality made all the difference. My room was very comfortable, with a good mattress, a large bathroom, and the toilet conveniently located separately but still within the room. The blinds on the windows were perfect for blocking out the light and heat, which is a big plus in summer. Other great perks included: • Breakfast included, simple but satisfying. • A private covered parking area, completely free of charge. • A drinking fountain in the lobby with both iced cold water and hot water for tea or coffee — such a thoughtful touch! I didn’t focus on photographing the room (which you can see easily on this site), but I wanted to share some photos of the ambience and beautiful decor so people get a better feel for the soul of the place. If you're looking for a peaceful, authentic stay in Brest, I highly recommend this hotel. I left with a smile and a sense of having stayed somewhere truly special.

Location is great!Super central and very close to the train/bus station. There are bars ans cafes just around the corner. The studio is quiet big and well equipped.

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Great staff, very friendly and very helpful!! Great location, delicious breakfast and dinner options with a very good quality food including regional varieties. Very clean and very peaceful. Super comfortable and happy space.

The stay here was exceptionally great- a very nice and cozy room with a perfect breakfast- Fernanda even took us out to a starting point for a hike and was a wonderful person in general! Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Only issue was that the hot food was only warm but still enjoyable. Staff were very helpful.

Excellent service.. there was an issue with the sink drain being accidentally closed by the cleaning lady and this was resolved rather quickly and they gave my group a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience.

A straight forward hotel that bats above the average. Clean, and comfortable.

I had a last-minute cancellation of a property I had booked and chose Hôtel Agena at the very last moment. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is conveniently located just a 3 mins walk from the train station and about 5 mins from the city centre. Guests have access to a communal microwave, and there is a tea and coffee machine available at reception. My room was clean and comfortable, and every request was met promptly. They even provide hot water kettles upon request. The staff were exceptionally friendly and genuinely took personal care of guests needs. On one of the days during my stay, my taxi arrived earlier than expected, and the staff immediately arranged a packed breakfast for me. It was a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. The hotel offers excellent value for money, a welcoming atmosphere, and larger newly renovated family rooms for those travelling with children. If you're looking for a comfortable, friendly, and conveniently located place to stay rather than a luxury experience, Hôtel Agena is an excellent choice
