Extremely kind staff. They helped us with everything. We got an upgrade, a bigger room, and this helped a lot. It was really nice, clean and beds were perfect. The hotel is located close to the promenade so you don't need a car to visit all the nice places in Nice.

I really like the location. I always choose the closest to the port (because there is a yacht every day), the closest to the Promenade des Anglais (because there is a morning run every day), and the market in the old town. I have been to La Perouse and the Swiss Hotel many times and was always satisfied. I tried the Hôtel du Couvent (Marriott chain) for the first time and was disappointed. The breakfast at the hotel is acceptable. I like the design of the rooms. Very calm color scheme, done with taste and thoughtfully.

We stayed in a 2BR apartment which is part of the Monsigny Hotel. The key is collected from the reception which was easy. The apartment was very clean and modern and had everything you want (great kitchen, fridge). The location is good. The beach area is about a 20-25 min walk. The train station is nearby and is easy and cheap to get the train to Cannes or Monaco (and even into Italy) for the day. The hotel has a restaurant which was quite good. We had dinner there a couple of nights (guests staying get a 15% discount). Tip when checking in; you walk through the restaurant entrance to get to the hotel reception.
