We cannot thank Chloe and the team enough - knowing we were celebrating, they unexpectedly upgraded us to the wedding suite and provided a bottle of bubbly! We felt totally spoilt. The location and surroundings are lovely, watching deer wandering about the frosty lawns while we ate breakfast was enjoyable. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and just the right amount. Everything was neat and well kept. Our room was extremely comfortable and cosy.

It’s great - good location, clean & comfortable - pub next door that serves great food. Breakfast was immense.

Loved staying here, very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful rustic features. Large and well presented bedroom and private bathroom with all amenities we could need. Bar area was lovely with lots of choices. Location is only a few minutes from local shops and the stunning Berkeley Castle. Breakfast was perfect. We had the full English breakfast, tea, and juice. In addition, we had the options of cereals and other items. There were no limitations of one choice or the other. Plenty of parking and area felt very safe. Thank you team x

Everything was catered for and a great getaway for a relaxing weekend

We originally booked for 13b but were asked if we would like a free upgrade to 11b which we accepted. The property was brilliant. Great open space kitchen, living and diner. BIG dining table and corner sofa unit. The kitchen had integrated units and the tv was a big size too. Bathroom was above expectation and the shower was great. Big bedrooms with really comfortable beds too. No issues whatsoever.

Everything was great! Beds are confortable, the house was very clean you have all facilities that you need ( hair dryer, dishwasher....) there is a parking space next to the house and also John and Lyn left us milk, tea, coffee, juice, prosecco. The house was very warm as the heating was on when we arrived. I would 100% recommend!

Great location in the centre of the village. Very friendly host, lovely breakfast included in the price, comfortable room, decent bar. Complimentary biscuit next to the kettle is always a good touch

The property was amazing, full of character with some lovely features. The beds were comfy and we slept well. The best bit was the open fire, so cosy. The garden was great for the dogs. The kitchen was well equipped, and the hosts were so welcoming.

The setting was lovely and the Cottage had everything we needed. Very generous supplies for all our requirements. The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were very spacious. We would thoroughly recommend Hilltop Cottage to anyone.
