Where do I begin. This place and its host are a real find!!! The room is compact but has everything you need including USB ports !!! The bathroom is stylish with a good shower. The bed was comfortable and the breakfasts were good. The BEST part is Rupert, the host. So welcoming and helpful but also a mine of information. He knows the places to go for wildlife, good views or places to eat. He has the most wonderful 'guide book' that he has written for guests which is very informative but also very funny at times. He should publish it. He was also SO helpful to all his guests with the problems with the ferries that were cancelled throughout June. We are going back there again !!!!

It was a nice facility and right on the water. A classic Scottish Inn. Loved the bar area, but the warm greetings from the staff was the best part. Dinner was also very good.

Chris and Carla have an excellent set up and clearly know their business well. They were pleasant and knowledgeable and are serious about their food. Anyone using this B+B should definitely go for the evening meal. Delicious. Full marks for a lovely visit

The location was a good distance away from the ferry point, ideal for the last ferry over from Mallaig. Plenty of parking clean, comfortable, tidy and well decorated and equipped.

Archie was a friendly and helpful host. The room was spotlessly clean, quite big, large bathroom, great shower over a bath. There was a communal large kitchen that was well stocked appliance and condiments wise, and spotlessly clean. There was also a washing machine, with huge amounts of drying line outside. There is a communal dining room with a table, and a sofa, TV, to eat dinner/ breakfast in. Ample free parking. What's not to like.

Peter was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was very clean. The shared kitchen was well equipped and clean. Plenty of parking. Recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in South Uist

The staff were very friendly and really nice people, the room was very clean with plenty of coffee. The large kitchen had everything you need and a separate dining room. Location was great with plenty of parking.
