The house was so well equipped, clean and the whole house felt luxurious

Fabulous stay. Gary and Gill were excellent and discreet hosts. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Everything. Attention to detail and love put into everything.

Lovely little cottage was a perfect getaway for us and 2 dogs! The little touches round the cottage made it a home from home, and the welcome lemon cake was delicious!

Beds are comfortable, great bathroom, kitchen and living room, and excellent facilities. It’s surrounded by countryside, horses and great walks on your doorstep.

Staff was very kind, nice breakfast, exquisite decor

The whole experience, the property and service, was much better than I expected. Refurbishment has been completed to a very high standard, exquisite design, superb workmanship. There is very evident attention to detail throughout, furnishings, wallpapers, decor, artwork and accent pieces, all work in harmony throughout, from reception, to corridors, bedrooms, all public spaces and event spaces. Breakfast was excellent, exceptional presentation on beautiful Royal Doulton fine bone china (Rondelay for anyone interested), perfectly cooked, with high quality local ingredients and no single use plastics in sight. The in room cosmetics are locally made, again, very high quality, sustainable and also avoiding single use plastics. The bedroom itself was lovely, very nice decor, and a perfect nights sleep. The location is very peaceful, so you can sleep with the window open and not hear a thing. The owners and the team should be congratulated for their efforts, they really understand high level hospitality and discreet high level service. We loved everything about our stay. It really was an unexpected treat and when we return to the area we would love to come back, next time for longer if possible.

The property was gorgeous and lovely and quiet. The owners were wonderful.

Probably the best equipped of all my home stays . The house is spacious spotless and has interesting history - lovely outlook and garden. All rooms are beautifully decorated lots of games and books for rainy days the lounge kitchen and dining room are large so no one feels in anyone else’s way. I highly recommend this house.

Very comfortable furniture 6 beds. Everything was thought off. Lovely touches throughout.

Beautiful little cottage hidden in a tranquil setting, host was wonderful. We will be back.
