Nice hotel with friendly staff for affordable price. Clean, quiet rooms, it's good choice for travelers. Taxi to center is around 50-60 pounds. Be prepared that nothing is there except airport shops, which are overpriced of course. Breakfast was good enough and open from 4am - 11am. I can recommend, for 1-2 nights max. Nice lobby with drinks and beer. Comfy beds.

Lovely vibe, nice staff, comfy beds. Also there was a hotel cat called Mimi that lived on the grounds. Made the visit even better.

Set in Takeley and with Hatfield Forest reachable within 5 km, Old Thatch Bambers Green offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a garden. Everything. We were greeted warmly on arrival. Everything was spotless, attention to detail was excellent. Sadly we had a very short stay before flying home the next day. Superb location to Stansted Airport, so peaceful you wouldn’t know the airport was 16 minutes away.

Stansted Airport Cottage is a recently renovated apartment in Bishops Stortford, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Beautiful and very clean property. Close to the airport but no airport noise at all. Great off street parking and some shops near by. Hosts were great with great communication and very helpful! Would highly recommend!
