We spent 3 nights at the new hotel in Myrties. The facilities in the rooms were exceptional and the hosts were very welcoming. Interior decoration carefully selected for a chill ambience, top-notch breakfast and smart-home-style facilities for a comfortable stay.

As an American who has lived and traveled in the Dodecanese and the broader Aegean over the past several years, I can say with great certainty (and great surprise) that Evanik provides one of the best luxury hotel experiences in all of Greece, let alone in Kalymnos. Yes, the amenities I experienced were absolutely phenomenal — a private jacuzzi room that had its own separate bed; separate walk-in shower and toilet rooms; an all-inclusive breakfast with hard-to-find preserves (kiwi jam??), homemade halva, complementary prosecco, and eggs prepared four ways... But the real prize here is the immensely caring staff. At 11pm on my second night, I began to exhibit symptoms of a severe infection. Without hesitation, the staff sprung into action to return me to my health. Theo, my hero at the front desk, called the only pharmacy open on the island at that time, acquired my medications, and personally delivered them to my door within minutes. Another sweetheart, Alex, assured me that I could relax and that there was no point spending the night in the hospital. Thanks to Theo, he was right. A special shout-out also to housekeeper Georgia, who went above and beyond to make my stay exceptionally comfortable. You might not expect such elite service from a hotel on one of the more local, charming, family-oriented islands in the Dodecanese... and that's exactly why I am so fond of Evanik: it has the comforts of a resort hotel, minus the obnoxious tourists who tend to go to these types of places. I have to add that as an Asian woman, I experienced none of the tacit racism I usually do at so-called "5-star" establishments elsewhere in Greece. Due to inconsequential technicalities regarding room size, Evanik is not officially listed as “5-star” — but let me assure you, this hotel exceeds the quality and service you would get at five-star accommodations in the usual places. This is a great place with a super friendly owner. This is one those "enter as strangers, leave as friends" kind of places once you meet the owner. The location is perfect, tucked away a quick 5-7 minute walk from the center with the bonus of a great view of the entire town from the large kitchen windows and roof top patio. We'll be back for sure, but next time for a longer stay.

Cozy nest close to port and across street from lovely beach. Walking distance to shopping and dining, and other beaches. Well thought out design, excellent communication with owners. Anna was in touch regularly, giving us time & location to meet her for the keys and a show around her property. The house is traditional Greek with a modern twist. It's an old house with a beautiful extension added and tastefully decorated. It's quite rural, so no bar music to contend with, just relaxation in piece & quiet. You'll need a car to get around, the property has a gated drive & parking. We also loved being able to cook on the outside gas burners... before eating & drinking into the evening.

Great location and an awesome villa, located at the heart of Mirties. The rooms were great and the kitchen had everything you need. You also have access to a cute beach from the back of the villa. Restaurants and cafe minutes away and so is the supermarket. There is also parking at the back of the house. The host was super nice and accommodating, answered all our queries promptly and left us very nice food on arrival. Highly recommended!
