Manolis and Thalia were excellent hosts. The location was very peaceful, waking up to the birds singing. Nice seaview. The hosts, provided us with homemade wine, raki, cake and other snacks. It was nice a community washing machine was available. They serviced the room everyday. Kato Zakros is a good central location for Vai Beach to the north and Xerocampos to the south. Also Kato Zakros has a very nice beach with several tavernas on the beach. Wonderful stay.

The Yannis retreat is a very beautiful place decorated with great taste - both the room as well as the garden. The breakfast offered made us feel at home. Katherina is an amazing host, and we hope to be back often in Kato Zakros, always in the Yannis retreat.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay,amazing view's from the property terrace. the studio was very well equipped everything you could want was there .The studio was spotlessly clean,good size shower/toilet room and the quality and level of equipment throughout was of a very high standard. Our host Georgia was lovely nothing was too much trouble for her,she even helped a couple who arrived looking for somewhere to stay last minute even though she was out with her friends. Can't wait to return.

It is a very purposefully and nicely furnished house in a beautiful location near the site of the Minoan palace, it is a place with a strong atmosphere, a pleasant beach, opportunities for trips. The owner is a very good and attentive host, we are grateful, among other things, for help with orientation in bus transport ... Thank you! The time in Little blue and in Kato Zakros was a time for us to rest and gain new strength ...

The house was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor terrace and an amazing view. The location was quiet and convenient for hikes and the beach. Marianna was a wonderful host. She showed us the way to the house, left us little Christmas cakes and honey and gave us a farewell gift of cakes for New Year’s.
