Anemos guest house is in one of the most beautiful villages in Greece. If you go to Karpathos there are plenty of places to stay on or near the beach but I would highly recommend the traditional village of Olympos, especially if you want peace and quiet amazing views and a more traditional experience. The host was friendly and communicative, and the room was large and comfortable with a spectacular view. There is a small kitchenette for self-catering and a large balcony with comfortable furniture to enjoy the view. Plenty of hot water in the shower since there is a solar water heater. Note that the bed is a traditional style wooden elevated bunk that requires stairs to get in and out of. Olympos village is amazing, full of friendly locals and delicious food at the many tavernas. Highly recommended I will definitely be going back.

A perfect stay! The place is beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped - but what truly made our experience special was the warm, home-like hospitality. Nikos, our host, is simply amazing always, available for any question, and going above and beyond to help with even the smallest issue. The wrap-around balcony overlooking the village and sea was amazing and we loved having a studio with two rooms (also with an amazing balcony), kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was kept clean daily and Manolis, Maria, Nikos and the family really went the extra mile to make sure all guests enjoyed their stay. Someone was always there during breakfast to answer questions and give recommendations for the day so you get the most out of your vacation. You can also book boat excursions through nikosboat.com and it is fun to ask about their boat trips and experiences (we hope to do a boat tour next time). The family is an integral part of tourism and the history of tourism in Diafani and on Karpathos. They are great communicators and deal with guests from many different cultures with ease.

I loved the beautiful setting! The accommodation had all of the amenities that I needed. It was very clean and there were nice extra details like a bottle of wine and fresh fruit. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a panini press. The two balconies were lovely. We especially loved our host Vasso. She was kind and offered some great beach suggestions on a windy day. We took her advice and couldn't have been happier. She made us feel right at home. The apartment is a short walk to the town and beach too.

The house itself is a tranditional local house. It gives you the feeling of how locals used to live in the past. Is fully equipped with all the amenities and internet works. The location is relatively near the entrance of the village/car parking so you don't need to carry your luggage for long. Also Irene the owner is very willing to give any kind of information about the island and answer all short of questions you might have.

Great spot to explore Olympos & close to the parking area. Very nice traditional room with a view. The host Marina was really friendly & helpful and we actually ended up staying with her mom while in Avlona!

Everything! The villa is big, spaceous, very clean and the view from the balcony and the terrace is one of the best I have ever seen! The host is amazingly friendly and it’s a pleasure to stay and chat with her, trully makes you feel welcome as a guest. One other very big advantage for Olympos is that you can reach the villas by car (although thr road is not the best but doable with a small car), it has a private parking, so you do not have to carry the luggage through the village alleys. We enjoyed it very much!
