The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and chatty with everyone, she truly was a ray of sunshine :)) she gave us a lot of useful information abut hiking trails to Meteora too. The rooms were relatively chilly, considering the rather challenging temperatures of the Kalambaka summer heat, due to well functioning fans and a.c. The beds were cozy and comfortable. They also provide free towels for guests, and the bedrooms and restrooms were always squeaky clean and in great condition for a hostel! Kitchen and the communal places were also greatly equipped, and likewise clean.

We had such a great stay here. Metsovo is a wonderful town and Hotel Apollon is a great choice with its traditional design and comfortable furnishings. We had a lovely breakfast which I enjoyed. Highly recommended

Velvet room was excellent size for a couple, with nice local toiletries. Very friendly and hospitable staff with excellent location to explore Meteora. Breakfast was excellent, our highlight of the trip…an incredible variety and good quality options! Highly recommend for a trip to Meteora.
