Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great stopping point if you’re going from Plitvice to Krka or Split. Lounge chairs great for tanning with nice padding and swimming pool is excellent. The mattress here was much nicer than another place which helped us recover from it.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay, as we were just passing through. There’s plenty of parking, the beach is a short walk away, the rooms are clean, and the owners are welcoming and helpful. We especially enjoyed the lovely breakfast on the terrace.

Perfect quiet hotel, the staff were more than helpful and the rooms were a great size. The pool was lovely and clean and the perfect size and the beach and sea were so close and perfectly clean and clear. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, the cheese omelets were very tasty. It was reasonably priced, and the beers were very cheap.

We loved everything! The house is beautifully located, with an incredible view of the majestic mountains and right next to a natural beach. All you have to do is step outside the property and you’re already on a clean, quiet and completely uncrowded waterfront. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. Every day, we enjoyed delicious fresh figs picked straight from the tree growing next to the house. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, kind, friendly and open. They treated us with fresh fruit and a delicious homemade cake baked by the owner, and when we arrived, there were local delicacies, fresh fruit and wine waiting for us. This place is truly special in every way. We spent two wonderful weeks here and will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bagami – an easy 10/10! On arrival, the local host warmly welcomed us, showed us around and explained everything. He even brought us rosé from his own property, plus freshly picked grapes and figs. A lovely welcome package was also waiting in the fridge, perfect for breakfast or an evening glass of wine. The rooftop jacuzzi was ready at 37°C and the pool at 26°C. The pool can be heated, so our small children could enjoy it at any time. The villa is spacious and ideal for 8 people, with a huge living/dining area and a very well-equipped kitchen, including plenty of cookware, glasses and even an ice maker – very useful in 35–40°C heat. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet, plus there is another bathroom downstairs and an outdoor shower by the pool. The covered outdoor dining area was perfect for breakfast and dinner, with lighting, an opening roof, a 7-burner gas grill, sink and gas hob. The nearby beach is pebbly, so water shoes are recommended, but the sea is crystal clear and it was never crowded: about 40–50 people at weekends and only 15–20 on weekdays. There are shaded spots, a playground, beach volleyball court and, importantly for us, a dog-friendly swimming area next to the beach. We travelled with 3 dogs and every restaurant/bar we visited was dog-friendly too. Evening walks along the coast were lovely. Rovanjska is peaceful, with a few restaurants, while Zadar is only 25–30 minutes away by car. The sunsets are beautiful from both the villa and beach. Whenever we had a question or needed anything, the host was immediately available and, if necessary, arrived within about 30 minutes to help. Even in bad weather, the villa is so well equipped that we could easily have enjoyed the whole week there. We would definitely return – by far the best accommodation we have stayed at in Croatia so far!

The apartment was in a very central location. It was Very clean and nicely decorated. although it is a studio size the space was used very well. The aircon was a life saver. Great value for the money
