Such a unique experience next to the waterfall, set in a gorgeous jungle full of flowering plants, huge leafy trees and swaying palms. Sounds of water everywhere. I spent 5 wonderful days. They brought me beautiful food in wonderful baskets and took great care of me when I didn’t want to emerge from my rest. They truly know how to facilitate a getaway experience in a magical setting. The Dukuh Retreat is truly a magical place. We spent there as a couple a week after we arrived by plane to Bali and it was a great decision. It helped us to rest after our journey and learn a lot about Bali from the local people. We couldn't be more grateful for the attention and care of the staff about us. We enjoyed the traditional Balinese dishes, local cultural activities, beautiful garden and rice terrace near the house and above all the relaxing massage. Often we had the swimming pool or yoga classes only for ourselves so we were really given a lot of personal attention.

We loved everything about it. It was hard too get there, it's very secluded but totally worth it. We were there the last few days of our trip and it was great to relax and recharge. There are a lot of stairs, we read that in other reviews but totally worth it. The surroundings are beautiful, the tents are great, big and comfy and the swimming pool is just great. Beautiful and peaceful place. Also, they have their own waterfall and it's great to swim in. The food is also really good, especially the vegetarian burger, we loved it! The staff is really nice, attentive and helpful. We absolutely recommend it.

Our villa with private pool was exceptional. A huge sitting room and two equally large bedrooms made it a very relaxing place for our family of two adults and two children (11 and 9). Bathrooms for both bedrooms are very sizeable and the extra ‘outdoor’ showers were very cool. Outside, the private pool was a little oasis for us. Plenty big enough for a family of four to play and relax. The scale of the property is further demonstrated by a large seating area.
