The room was very comfortable and well maintained. I loved the ambience.

The atmosphere of the place, the welcoming fire and the history

We had a lovely stay at Jacob’s Well. The property is excellently located. The host is lovely. We were welcomed immediately. Our cosy room was spotless and cleaned daily. Jacob’s Well is ideal to escape the mundane and stressful days, and simply relax and soak in the homely ambiance. We cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely visit again!

I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, particularly Mark in the bar. The older man who took my check in needs to take lessons from some younger staff members

The cottage is beautiful in absolutely beautiful surroundings, just so peaceful and relaxing, everything we all needed. Accessable bathroom perfect for our elderly parents, just perfect, we're looking forward to coming back later in the year.

Lovely surroundings, fantastic staff, homemade cake, accommodation was comfortable and clean. Jo went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

We loved the rustic nature of the Shepherd’s Hut and the fact that we were totally immersed in the forest. We were thrilled to see two deer as we drove to the property. The Shepherd’s Hut was so private in its location. We lit the fire pit each night and sat watching the stars.

Everything. Very clean, very comfortable mattress, all facilities needed provided.

Great breakfast and very nice guests.

Very nice two bedroom house, good size, has all the necessary things. Short drive from the town center.

I had a lovely stay. It was one of the most cozy places I have ever been to. The room was beautiful and so was the living room with couches and a fireplace. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were very friendly and caring. It is located in the middle of the village just a ten minutes walk from the train station.

Excellent accommodation, everything you need for a lovely stay.

It is what it says it is. Cozy homestay. I actually felt almost like home or at friends house. Cynthia was very helpful and accommodating. And the sea view from my room was beautiful. And i loved the garden too in the evening looking over at the sunset over the sea between houses. I enjoyed and would happily stay again.

Great location, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed - very peaceful and homely
