Just truley amazing experience! I enjoyed every second of the stay. The hosts were amazing. I was welcomed warm and they went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. I think I booked around a 100 different accomodation on booking and this is one of the best ones I ever had. It was an extraordinary high standard clean room, spacious, all the necessary equipment available (huge plus for the usb a charger cube), warm and comfortable bed, a nice lounging area and all the necessary information were provided well in advance to have a fabolous stay. Thanks! The sourrounding area is lovely. The walk to the hiking trails (some start directly behind the house) is already as beautiful as the hike itself.

Incredibly pleasant stay at a quaint house with comfortable beds and a generous host. There is a water kettle in the room to round out an evening with a cup of tea. Cozy! The breakfast was marvelous, you can order a variety of dishes on the day before and I myself had hot porridge which was incredibly delicious. I would book any day again.

    We stayed in a two-bedded room at the hostel. It was comfortable and had everything that we required. Check-in was straightforward. The communal spaces were pleasant and the whole place was quiet and peaceful. Onsite parking was easy. The main plus point was the location, right next door to the Glendalough religious site, with wonderful walks direct from the front door - magical!

    The location was excellent being right next to Glendalough. There was free parking. The room was good with all the facilities you could want. The breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. There was also a restaurant for dinner which was very helpful as there wasn't a lot nearby to choose from.

    The hostel is situated in a great spot - so close to the monument. We walked to the historic sites and were very close to some of the walks. There was onsite parking.

    Great location , great value , secure parking , nice shared lounge to relax in and have a glass of something , WiFi worked well , great kitchen facilities to cook yourself a meal , staff helpful & friendly , always love staying at the hostel when i hiking down that way.

    The owner welcomed us and took the time to explain us all the on-site facilities and the surrounding region (where to eat in the village, where to walk in the evening to see the sunset) The pods are beautiful and very comfy The shared toilets are modern and clean There is a small kitchen accessible 24/24 and a larger well equipped kitchen open during the day There is a free parking on the property

    Breakfast was very nice and I didn't realize it was included. The rooms were perfect for what we needed: 3 separate, neat, clean and comfortable rooms. We had a meal at the restaurant and it was also very nice. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful surprise to discover that the monastic ruins we came to see were literally across the parking lot. I obviously didn't spend a lot of time researching this so we were very pleasantly surprised by how good our experience was.

    The location is fantastic, based within the Glendalough National Park. In the past I imagine the hotel would have been spectacular, Rooms were small but the king-size bed and ensuite bathroom were of good quality. Reception staff were engaging and very attentive. Free parking was a bonus but did not make up for overall poor service.
