Everything about our stay was exceptional, the house was clean, the room was spacious and I can’t even begin to mention the bathroom. I’m so sad we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast on both days we were there, because the food was delicious! the host was even kind enough to message us about the possibility of seeing the aurora, super thoughtful.

We were upgraded to a Hotel Apartment and it was the best accommodation we had in all of Iceland. Couldn’t fault anything. Beautiful location - away from the road, very rural and a hot tub too!

Very homey and cozy (our room even had a small box with plush mice "sleeping" in it - an adorable addition to the room!). The room was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. The lobby was very welcoming, and there were always fresh home-baked goods and some home-grown veggies. Outside there were horses and 2 very cute dogs, and the whole atmosphere is of a family farm - in the best way possible! We had to check-in late and the instructions the owners left us on how to enter the room were very detailed (and quite hilarious).

The cottage locates between the Seljalandsfoss and the Skógafoss so we were able to visit both falls twice in two days. The view outside the cottage is also excellent. The cottage is very new and the hosts are very friendly. We can feel that they put lots of effort into this cottage. Highly recommend this place!

Centrally located on the South Coast allowing us to visit many attractions without relocating and being able to relax! This was such an amazing place to stay with friendly staff on a family farm, with hiking trails on-site and horseback riding options within walking distance.
