Hotels with Parking in Castellar

We had a wonderful four nights in Francesca’s cute apartment. We enjoyed being in a borgo where you could chat with friendly locals, do walks, enjoy the castle views and frescoed church, visit the bar and shop, and yet still be in Saluzzo by car in less than 15mins. It was a great base to explore nearby valleys, towns and the various castles and abbeys. We easily reached, for example, Cuneo and the Pinocchio town of Vernante. The apartment itself is beautifully and personally decorated, clean, comfortable and warm! If you like to cook or need to catch up on your laundry, everything is provided. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink and watching life in this pretty hamlet. We really felt at home. Thanks Francesca for making us so welcome. Hi to your sister too!

What did we like? Absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived we knew we would be happy here for the 4 days we were going to be in the area. We were met by the son of the owners who politely showed us around the accommodation as well as handing us the keys and explaining how to use the air conditioning and other appliances. He showed us an array of "gifts" left for us to enjoy during our stay. A very adequate supply of coffee pods for the machine and an incredible selection of teas for us to choose from. (I'm a coffee person and my wife favours tea), together with some fresh fruit and a few things in the fridge. Altogether a comprehensive and welcoming package which was much appreciated by both of us. The hosts could not have been more helpful and kind. We wanted to see other places while we were there, but didn't have time to cover everything, so it's possible we will return in the near future. If we do, we will certainly stay here again. There cannot be anything better in the area. It was really a "home from home" situation which added greatly to the enjoyment of our holiday as a whole. We can thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay. You will surely not be disappointed. A beautiful situation with a view over the owners' garden and easy to find. Parking is right outside the apartment door which was so convenient for us unload and load up our luggage. Many thanks to Elena and Paolo for providing us with a wonderful memory of this year's holiday. We love Italy and have spent the last few years travelling around the northern part of the country. I am sure we will be back. Geoff and Rachel Le Page (from England)

We really enjoyed the nice location, Saluzzo was an interesting cosy town, also hiking options or biking in this area is really good. We loved the excellent food prepared by our friendly hosts for dinner, absolut must is the Battuta di Fassona for starter and the Tajarin with minced Fassona beef or the Fassona steak.

Outstandingly welcoming approach and beautiful enviroment - both our room and the entire property. We loved how the breakfast was solved, really smart and thoughtful.

Delicious breakfast, much more and better than we even expected. The experience was wonderful on the terrace while the staff was so kind to us. I still dream of this breakfast.

Good garden, nice breakfast, great view

When we arrived there was nobody in the property, so you need to call. Wasnt a big deal, but could be nice to warn customers in advance. The room was clean. If you come in summer, get ready that mosquito army will attack you, get a spray in advance. In the morning señor brought us coffee and it was very nice.

Extremely caring hosts / staff, amazing huge, beautiful, modern room and toilet / shower. Secured private parking. Had dinner and breakfast at property - FIVE STAR food and wine. SIMPLY STUNNING ! Looking forward to come back soon again.

The host is the most amazing and informative person you can imagine. The property is absolutely lovely too.

Clean, new and have everything you need including parking

The property was modern & clean.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and very peaceful. Very comfortable beds with a clean room and very accommodating

The place was clean, every thing we need inside. It includes the towel and bed sheet. It has also everything for breakfast (coffee, tea, milk, juice, biscuits) . The tenant was really kind and answer quickly. Air dryer in the bathroom. I clearly recommand!
