Casa Contovello is a beautiful three story house with old wooden beams restored, it has a new modern kitchen and comfortable beds. The house is located in a small village on the Mountain side. If you are not driving Trieste city centre can be reached easily by buses that leave a stop about three minutes walk from the property. There is a beautiful walk down to Miramar Castle and you can also access the beach to cool off on Sunny days via this walk too. The host is very helpful and was there to help and answer any questions we had.

Excellent appartment with all facilities. Free parking. Good location with short walk to bus stop for Trieste. Nives is a very helpfull and kind host. The heating in cold periods very efficient.

The room facing the Adriatic Sea was absolutely beautiful. Was a real treat. Breakfast was amazing. So many choices. One of the ladies working at breakfast was very warm and friendly.

Excellent location, beautiful property with a large, private balcony with all the benefits of being in the countryside on the outskirts of a small village with facilities, but only 5km from the centre of Trieste.

The hotel was right near the ocean and you could walk right to it.

Cozy two-story apartments, clean and with comfortable sleeping arrangements. Perfect for 2–3 people. Located a 5-minute walk from the center of the tree-lined Barcola promenade.The path to the apartments is quite steep, so be prepared for that. But the beautiful view of the sea and Trieste from the window, along with the grassy lawn, more than make up for this minor inconvenience. Very nice friendly mistress.

The hosts are very helpful and respond quickly to any questions. We arrived late at night and there was no problem. The apartament is veeery spacious, has a great layout and is very cute. Also has everything you can need including laundry machine and a great array of soft drinks and some sweets. And this terrace omg! What a view!

Raffaella is the perfect host - Kind, friendly and helpful Her apartment is so nice, spacious and romantic. Perfectly clean. Two big bedrooms, one with double bed, the other one - with two single. A living room with a cute terrace. Kitchen equipped with everything needed even for a longer stay, including tea, variety of coffee, even decaf, which we prefer. She also has provided us with a lot of fruits and things for breakfast . There is a perfect washing-machine in the bathroom, too. And the view, ah, what a breathtaking view, from the living room and one bedroom. We couldn’t get enough of it 😇 The railway goes just behind the building but, but it doesn’t bother you at all. This is a place one shouldn’t miss in Trieste. Thank you so much, Raffaella

We came for 3 nights. It's hard to imagine a better place in Trieste. Great location close to the seaside promenade and not far from the city center. A wonderful, hospitable host. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The area is very quiet and safe. An additional advantage is the history of this place. The old medical wine factory has been turned into a cozy hotel. There are many objects on site reminding the history of this villa.

Great location in city center. With parking available fairly close at the main bus station for 14 Eur for night. Host was there on time and very friendly. The apartment is very clean and very well furnished and looks great. Everything is there. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely book again.

We had a mini bar, we would almost forget it still existed since corona. My girlfriend loved it. But besides that, the designer of the hotel deserves an award. It's not the most fancy hotel but they really thought about a lot of styling details. This together with a friendly staff and a good breakfast made this hotel wonderful
