Podere Le Marene was one of several places we stayed during our trip to Italy. The relaxing environment and welcoming reception we received from Chiara and Martin was second to none. We were made to feel completely at home, our room was clean, modern but with character features and with all the amenities and comforts we could want. We only wish we could stay longer to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and delicious home-made food.

Beautiful location and the room and swimming pool were very good

The property and bedrooms were charming- farm house style. After walking 6 hours in shocking weather- the open fire in the restaurant certainly warned us up. The staff there were friendly and efficient.

After working more than 15 years ourselves in hospitality this place was above our imagination. We have seen already a lot of beautiful places, but this place is not only beautiful, the atmosphere, every member of the staff is extremely friendly. We stayed here a week with our 2 kids, we have small kids (4 months and 3,5 years) but this was absolutely no problem. We felt very welcommed, the vibe was really warm and sincere. The room was above our expectations, and was even better than on the photos! - The room: was cleaned every day, we got every day fresh water on the rooms, fresh home made cookies and crackers and The room was always tidy and the beds were made very neatly every day and all this during our breakfast. The terrace was very spacious and relaxing- The breakfast: The breakfast was of an unprecedented level. Everything was crisp and fresh, every day a different range of homemade cakes, pastries, juices, etc. The extra options that could be adjusted were also delightful.- Apero and lunch: Throughout the day you could order drinks and lunch via WhatsApp, these were brought to the swimming pool/apartment: again processed down to the last detail!- The swimming pool was AMAZING. The view was the best view of our 4-week trip in Italy. And maybe one of the most beautiful views in our lives. The domain is taken care of down to the last detail, every day you see passionate people taking care of everything: from the plants, the grass, the swimming pool,- The staff: Huge passionate staff, friendly staff, very professional team. From the staff for breakfast, to the ladies who take care of the rooms, to the lady at the reception: everyone was very friendly and we felt very welcomeThe restaurant for dinner: As mentioned, we have been in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, and the level of cuisine served here is very, very high. The female chef has amazed us dish after dish, made us happy, our taste buds were stimulated.

Nice location with pool and garden. Delicious italian breakfast and kind host. Close to orvieto, which is a gorgeous small town.

What an amazing find tucked away in the hills with beautiful views you never want to leave! And the dinner in the restaurant was the best we had in our two weeks in Italy. Perfect for a chilled time with nature.

Umbria is the pearl of Italy. Le Macchie offers excellent conditions for both on-site recreation and exploring the region's historical and cultural sites. The conditions are exactly as described. I would especially like to note the cleanliness and order in the rooms, the pool and the recreation area.The quality of water in the pools is monitored daily.The hosts are very hospitable and friendly. Every day Roberto treats guests with seasonal products (fruits, vegetables) from own farm. Do not miss opportunity to try he's yellow water melon! We sincerely thank Adalina and Roberto for the comfort, coziness and home warmth. We dream of visiting Le Macchie again.

We had a lovely stay here! Spacious, clean and comfortable room in this house. Beautiful wood furniture made by the host and original paintings make the house charming and unique. The shop and a brilliant restaurant are within minutes walk and the old town is 10 minutes walking away. It is very conveniently placed to the Cammino. The host is fantastic; communication was excellent, checking in and out very easy. I would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend it.

We stayes family with 3 kids (7-15) a great place! Very big place, lovely and Equipped with all you can just thinl you may need. And Simonne and Andrew are so kind, helping with tips for everything you need. I will come again! One of the vest places!

Good room condition. Nice breakfast. Enjoyed every service they provided. We are definitely going to stay here if we come back to umbria again.

Amazing location and extremely peaceful

Benedetta and Angelo are great hosts that take pride in hosting you and make you feel as comfortable as at your own home. They are putting loads of effort on creating more outdoor areas to enjoy the magnificent views their B&B has. The place is big, with some impressive furniture as well, clean and located on a quiet area of this wonderful region
