Clean, beautiful view, and the food was absolutely delicious (super fresh too)! Would totally recommend others to stay here for a lovely and cosy stay in a guesthouse. The family is warm and welcoming and Moritz is such a great chef! We really enjoyed the food here and would love to go back again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Birkenau and were impressed by the overall standard of the accommodation. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. We especially liked how well equipped the room was. It felt much more like a good hotel than a typical guesthouse. There was a safe, toiletries including toothbrushes, and all the small details you need for a comfortable stay. There is also a fridge with drinks available for guests for a small extra charge, which was very convenient. The location is excellent, especially if you are planning to drive the Timmelsjoch. The surrounding area is beautiful, parking is easy, and overall the place is very peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a good selection, the eggs were very good, and the coffee was excellent. A special mention for the milk - was properly frothed and it genuinely tasted like something you would get in a good café. The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable, very well equipped, in a great location and with excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again
