Hotels with Parking in Ambo

The view from the window is superb, and it’s only a 5-minute walk from all the restaurants. The owner is super friendly and was very helpful during the heavy rain. This is definitely the place to stay for your vacation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Yakushima. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for exploring the island. The house itself was spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly and offering helpful advice for enjoying Yakushima to the fullest. This was truly a perfect experience — 10/10. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.

The owner was very nice and kind to me and was very communicative. She's an old lady living downstairs but she would take time to walk upstairs to chat with me to make sure everything's ok and asked me about my hiking plan, though she didn't speak English and my Japanese is very broken, we communicated well with a translator app 😉 Staying in this minshuku in this village was simple yet lovely. The bath was a treat after hiking. Its close to the river and it's nice to stroll along even after a long day hike. I also liked that there's a kitchen. She also got everyone some lovely bread for breakfast, with coffee, tea and local shochu available on the kitchen bench. The kitchen and eating area were great for socializing with other guests. I would love to stay here again. ありがとうございます✨

This charming and well-maintained inn is located about 1 kilometer from Anbo Port Station - an easy walking distance. If taking the bus, simply get off at the "Anbo" stop. The inn features beautiful garden-style European architecture with exceptionally clean rooms, bathrooms, and shower facilities. The owner offers delicious pre-ordered breakfast and lunch packages perfect for hikers（cash payed） For those planning to hike to 绳文杉 Jōmon Sugi (the famous cedar tree), it's just two bus stops to the Nature Museum, making it very convenient. The inn boasts a gorgeous waterfront location with docks that resemble a peaceful inland lake. Nearby you'll find restaurants and a tasty burger shop

We enjoyed our stay in Tirol. The location is great for jomon sugi hike and the family that owns the house is very kind.

I stayed nine days and enjoyed it there..I met so many Japanese travellers everyone was in high spirits maybe because golden week or maybe just stoked to be out in nature..the only bummer was when some French arrived and droned on in the common area loudly till late, annoying everyone….at least some things are constant wherever you go in the world..apart from that everyone was so respectful and I highly recommend

Located near the bus stop 62 if you don't have a car. Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.

We had a lovely stay with Tomoko at the Soraruri. She took our booking at very short notice. The room was clean and spacious. There is a lovely common area and kitchen. Tomoko was very accommodating. I would recommend.

Everything was nice and stylish! Modern house with great view.

It is super quirky but we loved it. Plenty of separate rooms for our party of four. Loads of showers. Great location. We loved the little Racine House

The ocean view was beautiful. The staff helpful with the help of the iPad translator. Although the facilities were outdated the eastern style room was worth the experience. Thank you to the staff who helped us!!

Helpful and friendly staff, very good information about the island, buses etc, clean and comfortable rooms, cozy and friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast provided every morning.

Daichan is very kind and willing to share a lot of interesting stories. He helped me getting around Yakushima Island and showed me the interesting spots. He has also been very reactive when my ferry got cancelled and I did not know what to do. The tent and the bed were very comfortable, which I wasn't really expecting! There are lots of pictures and documents scattered around the facilities which gives plenty of charm and personality to this place. I can not recommend it enough!

Very comfortable, quiet and spacious cottage, with many equipments at disposal. Great welcome from the owner! At a few minutes on foot from the bus stop, very convenient to go hiking. At 25 minutes on foot from the Anbo supermarket (there is a sidewalk), and vending machine on the cottage site.

Great views. Wonderful terrace . Fantastic hosts.

Staffs are very helpful. Onsen is very good .

Very kind and helpful for anything we needed on planning our trip

The place is extraordinary, the house extremely comfortable and the owners super friendly and helpful.

Great location, free parking, great host, sea view and washing machine

Hiro is a great host.the common room was nicely equipped and you can get bento boxes and some ramen in the hostel. It is right in the forest, so a beautiful place and in the middle of all sightseeing spots.

Very kind staff, calm surroundings, good value for money. I would return!

Privacy and spacious room, especially the one with a balcony; quiet and right with the nature. Special thanks to Shiiko who speaks good English and gives good restaurants’s recommendations, also the delicious dessert provided by the owner!

Quite location despite close proximity to Yakushima airport. Nice wooden interior and equipped with everything you need for a couple days. Friendly owner and uncomplicated check-in/-out. Very resonably priced for Yakushima despite booked on short notice. Highly recommended!

good spa，good service，good view
