The stuff is friendly, the facility is clean and beautiful. It's a bit far from Minobu station, but you can travel here from Shinjuku Bus terminal or on local bus from Minobu station, so I can't say it's a problem. Moreover, it's located near Minobu mountain and several temples, which is very convenient.

We visited here all the way from Singapore, simply because the delicious grilled Yamame fish. We stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy a getaway from the concrete jungle. The Staffs here are truly friendly and helpful (Yes! I mean EVERY!) ! We enjoy hot spring egg, foot bath, private bath, table tennis, fishing, fireworks, drum show... a lot of activity there! (Some may charge varies with reasonable price) Thank you Shimobe hotel to give me a great vacation!

We had a wonderful time here 😊 Hana is a very lovely host. She gave us so many tips where to visit and let us rent her car for a day to drive around. We enjoyed our stay here a lot and were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji so clearly (again thanks to Hana). Would love to come back again!!

The house was so beautiful and welcoming! The host greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us into the lovely home, explained how everything worked and made sure we were all set. Its so incredibly beautiful around the house since its filled with all sorts of nature. It truly was a getaway from everything. We only stayed 2 nights and on the second night she went out of her way to offer us Chinese takeout. She was really sweet :)
