This is a brand new hotel on the outskirts of town and it is now our new favorite hotel in Japan! There is so much to live about this hotel: - rooms are large by Japanese standards - beds were incredibly comfortable with soft mattresses - there are two different height pillows to choose from - beds were wider than usual for a twin room - the shower is a proper tiled shower with room to move, not a modular bathroom with the shower in the bath - with only 3 floors, we never had to wait for an elevator, unlike larger hotels with many floors - we did not hear any sounds from other guests while we were in our room - the soundproofing is amazing - there was very little road noise in our room, and what there was, wasn't enough to disrupt our sleep - there is a partition you can slide across to make a wall between the bedroom and the front door, giving you that extra layer of sound protection - there is a communal eating area downstairs with free coffee (freshly ground beans), a microwave, a grill and an ice machine. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a Lawson next door, so we just grabbed a microwave dinner and breakfast from there and ate in our room or in the communal area. - the staff spoke English - the decor is wonderfully tasteful - value for money! We've stayed at much older and less comfortable hotels in Japan for double the price.

Amazing value. Everything you need for a cozy overnight or short stay Large TV - was not expecting such a large TV Comfortable desk chair - doubles as a lounge chair and has massaging functions! Ample parking Cleanliness - everything was pristine, clean Bathroom - immaculate and high water pressure. Privacy and quiet - no shared walls and an air gap between units means a more quiet stay than your average economy hotel. Front desk/reception staff was very kind and courteous.

Amazing experience! Very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. We enjoyed the onsen, as well as the open-air bath on our patio. We dined in both izikaya restaurant and also the chef's set-menu. Both were fantastic! They even made a special vegetarian meal which was so delicious! Such a great place and the free shuttle from Okayama Station was very easy to arrange.
