Great accommodation in a classic house in the countryside.

We stayed at a beautiful traditional Japanese guesthouse run by a wonderful host from Hong Kong. She was incredibly informative and offered fantastic recommendations that really improved our trip. We are so grateful for her kind help and feel very lucky to have chosen this place."

We spent two nights in Watei Waraku's magnificent house. We were completely charmed by this house steeped in history, elegantly decorated in a traditional Japanese style. The wood is very prominent and beautiful, and it was a pleasure to spend a few days in such an environment! We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, who explained everything about the house and had prepared a bath for us! What a joy to relax in that bath after a day of cycling! The kitchen is very large and very well equipped. Everything you need for cooking is provided, and there are dishes of all sizes and colors to decorate the table. The bathroom is very spacious and comfortable. There is also a washing machine available with soap. The bedroom had three large, comfortable beds and an adjoining living room lined with tatami, with a lovely view of a trimmed pine tree and a wheat field. A supermarket is 400 meters from the house.

Great location near train station. Big room and comfy bed. Great value for money. Quiet park nearby with temples and sakura trees.

Nice staffs and clean room. Have bath in the toilet. Good location in Yanagawa. Close to the Nishitetsu stop. Restaurants nearby. Very convenient!
