The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast and Dinners were amazing. The traditional Japanese accomodation and food were perfect for me. Great facilities to store and dry your ski equipment on site. They even have clown fish in an aquarium in the lobby!

We are 2 adults and a teenager stayling in a 2-storey family room. The room is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The dinner was a hotpot set which was delicious. The hosts provided useful information of the nearby ski resorts and the transportation ways to us. They are nice and friendly. There is a cozy space for our lazy-bone time after dinner. A free hot bath with an outdoor snow view through the window is also the unique feature. The location is just beside the base slope of the Tsugaike ski resort where you can easily ski-in and out. In general, I would certainly recommend this lodge for others.

This was one of the best ski holidays we have been on. The hotel was beautiful - amazing décor, comfortable room, great private onsen and shared spaces, most delicious food (English breakfast and mostly Japanese dinner), helpful staff. The location is really on the slopes of Norikura (which is linked to Cortina), and an easy walk to the shuttle bus for access to the rest of the Hakuba resorts. Hotel provides pick up and drop off from local train/bus stations, so we really didn't need to rent a car. We opted for the half board option and just really relaxed and enjoyed skiing and chilling in the hotel.

We stayed at Matsunoki Tei for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The facilities were excellent, making our stay very comfortable. The food was delicious, with generous portions and a great variety of dishes to try. The location is perfect, right next to the slope, making it incredibly convenient for skiing. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and kind, adding to the overall warmth of our stay. A special thank you to Chris-san for his exceptional hospitality—he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. His kindness and dedication made our stay even more enjoyable.

Amazing. The lodge is spacious and beautiful. Every detail has been well considered. The location is ideal. The ski slope is across the road, there is a charming Cafe downstairs, and an onsen down the street. The host is very hospitable.

We could walk to the slopes, it was clean, staff were super friendly and helpful. Great drying room. It had everything we needed for a smooth trip.

Have the pick up and drop off services on the day of arrival and departure which is very convenient. Have a cozy resting and dining area where you can relax and chill with other guests after skiing.And they do offer a great variety of dinner options and it’s a great value of money! All the hosts are really friendly and welcoming.They have different suggestions on skiing resorts depending on your levels.Plus what to do in Hakuba when you decide to take a rest other than skiing.Overall the restrooms and bathrooms are well maintained and clean.
