Shimanto Riverside Hideaway, hôtel avec parking à Shimanto

Doté d'un jardin et offrant une vue paisible sur la rue, le Shimanto Riverside Hideaway est situé à Shimanto, à 12 km du musée historique et du sanctuaire d'Ichijo.

I had booked this place because we were going to do an activity in the area, it was canceled on that day but I kept this booking even though it can be a little difficult to get to (I would recommend taking a taxi from the train station, bus service is highly irregular).It seemed like it would be a good experience (staying at a Traditional Japanese house in the country). I was right. Kenji is an excellent and helpful host. Our room was one of the most beautiful we stayed in, lots of detail: carvings , kami dana, beams etc. The beds=futons were warm and comfortable. It was quiet and you could see stars at night. You are near the river and can see/ cross one of the famous bridges. This is rural Japan and I loved it.

    沈下橋を渡る場所にあって四万十川を満喫するには最高。同オーナーさんがwith riverでカヌーなどもやっていて相談しやすかった。 家の裏手の小さな水場はイモリがたくさんで子どもが大喜びだった。
